Will Present Unbelievers Serve and Worship Jehovah on Paradise Earth?

Yes.  The Bible teaches that present unbelievers will have an opportunity for future judgment based on their response to Christ’s Millennial Kingdom on Paradise earth.  At that time, most of them will accept Jesus and they will worship and serve Jehovah.

Phil 2:  9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus EVERY knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that EVERY tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.   NKJV

Those under the earth are those asleep in the grave who will worship God when resurrected in the kingdom.

Rev 15:4 Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You..”   NKJV

Dan 7:14, 27    Then to Him [Christ] was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That ALL peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him…  His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’  NKJV

Some might argue that the nations are destroyed at the end of the Millennium, but notice it says, “His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom.”  The nations will continue to serve Christ forever.

Isa 66:23 – all flesh come to worship before me, saith Jehovah.  ASV

Ps 22:27  All the ends of the world Shall remember and turn to the LORD, And all the families of the nations Shall worship before You.   NKJV

Ps 138:4 All the kings of the earth shall praise You, O LORD, When they hear the words of Your mouth.   NKJV

Ps 72:8,11,17 – He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth… Yes, all kings shall fall down before Him; All nations shall serve Him… His name shall endure forever; His name shall continue as long as the sun.  And men shall be blessed in Him; All nations shall call Him blessed.  NKJV

Rev 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying,”The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” NKJV

Notice again, Christ reigns over “the kingdoms of this world… forever and ever!”  The kingdoms of this world become a part of Christ’s kingdom forever and are not destroyed after the Millennium.

Rev 21:  23 And the city hath no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine upon it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamp thereof (is) the Lamb.   24 And the nations shall walk amidst the light thereof: and the kings of the earth bring their glory into it.  ASV

Mal 1:11  For from the rising of the sun, even to its going down, My name shall be great among the Gentiles; In every place incense shall be offered to My name, And a pure offering; For My name shall be great among the nations,” Says the LORD of hosts.   NKJV

Rev 5:13 – “And every creature … heard I saying, Blessing, and honor…to… the Lamb for ever” AKJV

Ps 86:9; Ps 65:1-2; Zech 2:11; Zech 9:10

Rev 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying,” The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” NKJV

Note the kingdoms have become the “the kingdom of our Lord”, Lord upper case and his Christ. “He” is also upper case referring to Lord. Remember Christ sets on Yahweh’s throne until Christ himself is subjected. That would be why kingdom in the above scripture is lower case because Christ has not been subjected yet, in which case Kingdom, upper case would be appropriate. I admit the author probably didn’t have the insight to make this distinction, but it works none the less.

(1 Corinthians 15:27, 28) . . .For [God] “subjected all things under his feet.” But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that it is with the exception of the one who subjected all things to him. 28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.

Remember the overall theme of events in the Bible is to return all to the “way” it originally was, with God having influence (Kingdom) over every creation, Jesus included. So when the scripture says, “let your kingdom come” kingdom lower case, it means let those on earth who are under God’s influence through Jesus, draw closer. The end result will be those of humanity that have exercised the realization that the sent sacrifice, Jesus, bought reconciliation with God, will now use this realization to “call on God”. “Calling on God” is an active, not a passive process. So if you call on God through the provision of his Son, then the holy spirit is poured out on you. The holy spirit gives increased intellectual capacity so that you begin to realize your obligation, and begin the process of making your mind over, putting on the incorruptible apparel. This also leads forward in the ongoing process of being “made in God’s image”.

Simply put, the kingdom, the same kingdom (true Jews) that was among the “nation of Israel” and taken from that nation by the new administration with Jesus as king and head, is drawing closer to God until the day that it is the only kingdom on earth, and “God’s will is done on earth as it is in heaven”.

I should mention again that resurrection has nothing to do with the giving of life unless you receive an “out resurrection”, mistakenly called the “first resurrection” by some. Resurrection means to stand before God and receive the reward for your actions. For mankind that does not “call on God”, resurrection and it’s reward is that they are left in the grave already judged by their actions since they did not exercise the reconciliation opportunity, the path that Jesus reveals .

We recommend, brothers and sisters, that you get and hold an overview clearly in mind before you try to figure out the details of the Bible. We’ve found this to be the only way to cover distance deliberately as opposed to 2 Timothy 3:7) . . .always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth. Brother Russell made a start by trying to do away with all old doctrine and embrace only those trains of thought that were reasonable. He knew that only by the sense made through holding logical trains of thought from the scriptures could we gain a further “sense” of the direction to pursue to “draw closer to God”.

This is Josana. I didn’t know where else to ask questions, other than to write to you personally. I have 3 questions.

    1. I don’t understand Isaiah 65:20 – Are we to live only to 100 during the thousand year period?

    2. I thought everyone was going to be resurrected for the 1000 years.

I am still studying with the Witnesses. They are the most incredible people in the world. The only problem is that that are so sure of what is going to happen as far as God is concerned. Almost smug about it. I don’t think I can ever read God’s mind and I know he knows our hearts. Look who he picked to be apostles. I don’t know what will happen to me in the future and I know that no one else does because of the heart condition. Sure they might read everything, do everything they think God want’s them to do, but is their heart in the right place. God is love and he knows what we are.

Tulsgirl – I don’t want to take away your dreams of a beautiful earth. If the angels could materialize and eat a meal with Abraham, who is to say we could not visit our friends on earth and do the same in the Kingdom. If you have been baptized into Christ (Romans 6) and are anointed with the Holy Spirit, then your reward will be heavenly, not earthly. Look at it this way, if heaven is a higher level of existence, then it must have greater beauties than earth. You may be thinking of the cold darkness of outer space. That is not what heaven is like. It is more beautiful than the Smokey Mountains, Grand Canyon, Oceans, lakes, forests, etc. Do you think Jesus is unhappy because he is a divine spirit being? Do you think he wishes he were human again? 1 Cor 2:9 says, “but just as it is written, “THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.” Do you think God has prepared something less for you? Is that how he will show his love? Of course not. We can’t understand heaven, but we know God is love and by Faith, we trust that heaven is better than earth.

Thank you, Peter, for your response. I have read so much these past days even weeks I’m really getting confused. I pray that Jehovah will help me sort it all out. I read somewhere that when talking to some JWs they say how they look forward to their part of living on the earth. I’ve always been one of those. I love animals, the beautiful flowers and clouds slowly floating across the sky. I’ve never had any desire to go to what I perceive heaven to be. (And that’s even before I became a JW. Finding out I wouldn’t be going to heaven was one of those bible revelations that was a great joy to me.) Now, however, looks like I may have to reconcile myself to whatever purposes Jah has for me. Which is really what we all should feel anyway. It’s just going to be hard to change the joy I had of an earthly reward. Is there any possibility that we actually don’t know for sure ALL there is to understand of Jehovah’s purpose for each of his human creatures? I’m trying to not be so rigid in all my accepted beliefs and leave room for growth, but forgive me, it’s hard.

    Christ’s blessings,

Tulsgirl – The whole world of mankind will be resurrected on earth, including many Christians who who have not truly been baptized into Christ and received the Holy Spirit.

The whole world is to be saved, not just the Anointed
1 John 2:2 – “He is an atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. – Weymouth
1 Tim 4:10 – God…is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe. NKJV

The world will learn Jehovah’s ways on Paradise earth
Isa 26:9 – “when Your judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.”

Isa 11:9-10 – “the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea.”

Mic 4:1-2 – “Many nations shall say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.”

Ps 138:4 – “All the kings of the earth shall praise You, O LORD “ NKJV

Ps 96:10-13 – “The LORD reigns…He shall judge the peoples righteously… let the earth be glad”
Gen.22:18 – “In your seed ALL the nations of the earth shall be blessed ” NKJV

However, since Pentecost, Jehovah has been calling the bride of Christ, the ones Anointed with the Holy Spirit. These are pursuing the one hope of their calling (Eph 4:4), a heavenly hope.

“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;” (Php 3:20 NAS95)

“the hope that is being reserved for YOU in the heavens. (Col 1:5 NWT)
“Consequently, holy brothers, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the apostle and high priest whom we confess-Jesus.” (Heb 3:1 NWT)

“Rejoice and leap for joy, since YOUR reward is great in the heavens; for in that way they persecuted the prophets prior to YOU.” (Mt 5:12 NWT)

These anointed ones, if faithful, will be earths future priests, kings and judges as Jesus body members.

    REIGNING AS KINGS & PRIESTS

2 Tim 2:12 – If we endure, We shall also reign with Him. NKJV

Rev 20:6 – first resurrection…they shall be priests of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

Rev 1:6 – “has made us kings and priests to His God and Father” NKJV

JUDGES OF ISRAEL & THE WORLD

1 Cor 6:2 – “Do you not know that the saints will judge the world?” NKJV

Matt 19:28 – “in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. NKJV

Dan 7:27 – “the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be handed over to the saints” NIV

    Hope this helps you Tulsgirl.
