What prophecies regarding Israel’s regathering have already been or are being fulfilled?

  1. The fact that they would be regathered to the land (Isa. 43:5-6 & Jer 30:3), never again to be removed (Amos 9:14) on the (millennial) day (Isa 11:11)
  2. First Jewish settlement called Petiteekvah (meaning, “door of hope” – Hosea 2:15) established in 1878 A.D. following permission from Berlin Congress of Nations.
  3. Fishers (Zionism) & Hunters (Nazi Persecution). (Jer 16:15,16).  We suggest that God allowed Nazi persecution to drive the Jews back to their land, but that Satan attempted to thwart God’s plan by using this same persecution to exterminate the Jews (the earthly seed).  Although God permitted this evil for a time, he finally intervened to prevent the Jewish extermination from continuing, by turning the war against Germany; thereby demonstrating that God’s intervention and care were necessary for the protection and preservation of the Jewish people.  Every Jew who died in the Holocaust will come back to joy and happiness in the resurrection and with the realization of their need for a kingdom ruled by God, where all mankind can be happy and safe.
  4. Remnant return weeping & crying after Holocaust (Jer 31:7-9).
  5. No longer servants in other lands in that (millennial) day (Jer 30:8)
  6. Land reclamation (Amos 9:14; Isa 35:1,2; Isa. 61:4).  Rebuilding of cities, clearing swamps, irrigating deserts & farming the land.  In the past centuries, Israel was a barren wasteland and filled with swamps and deserts.  Now God has transformed Israel into a thriving farming country which exports much of its crops and is one of the most technologically advanced nations on the planet.
  7. The city of Jerusalem restored to the Jewish people (Zech 12:6) in that (Millennial) day.
  8. Other nations (trees) springing to life along with Israel (fig tree) (Luke 21:29-30) points to nearness of the kingdom. (figs=Israel Jer 24 & Matt 21:19).  With the disintigration of Europeon empires, colonies declared independence and became independent nations.

    Steve is right

    Thessalonians 2:14-16
14 For you, brothers, became imitators of God’s churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from your own countrymen the same things those churches suffered from the Jews, 15 who killed the LORD Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to all men 16 in their effort to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. The wrath of God has come upon them at last.

    Jeremiah 3:8
I gave faithless Israel her certificate of divorce and sent her away because of all her adulteries. Yet I saw that her unfaithful sister Judah had no fear; she also went out and committed adultery

(John 18:36) Jesus Answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews:

(John 7:13) No one of course would speak about Jesus publicly because of the fear of the Jews

I do not believe Gods people have returned to Jerusalem. Gods people are the tribs of Israel The tribe of Judah returned to the land in 1948. Judah was rejected by god for their rejection of Jesus…which they still do today.
The Jews have the world believing all of Gods people are Jews…this is not true. The other 11 tribes, the tribes of Israel are gods people.

    To Steve;

Are you still preparing the 1914 material?

  • STEVE

Hi PETER,your presumption is correct THE BIBLE IS THE ONLY AUTHORITY (2 Timothy 3:16).
I do not see the scriptural evidence you present herein as proof more like assumptions.
you have a grounding in basic bible truths and i agrre with many of your beliefs, however, like the JWS you believe that 1914 has special significance,as your pages declare(We arrive at the date 1914 AD as the End of the Gentile Times by performing a time prophecy calculation.
The belief that an invisible presence of Christ began in 1914 is how you have arrived at your prophetic interpretation ,but,is this doctrine up to scriptural scrutiny?
tomorrow if time allows i will send you some info backed up by scripture that will prove 1914 is a hoax.
BTW you may find this a bit strange i am a JEHOVAHS WITNESS STILL ATTENDING MEETINGS.

    MANY THANKS BROTHER……STEVE

Steve – I look forward to hearing more from you.

Regarding 1914 – Bible Students do NOT believe that Jesus returned in 1914. This prophecy directly relates to Gentile domination over the Jewish people for 2520 years (from 607 BC to 1914). The !914 World War produced the Balfour Declaration in 1917 British Mandate which set aside Palestine as a homeland for the Jews. The Times of the Gentiles prophecy is derived from the 7 times punishment to Israel mentioned in Lev 26 and also the 7 times references in Daniel to Nebuchadnezzar typical madness and the tree cut down for 7 times. A “TIME” or prophetic year in the
Bible is 360 days. So, 7 x 360 equals 2520 years, from 607 BC to 1914. Interesting, some Bible prophecies have stages of implementation or double applications. If in this prophecy, we replace the prophetic year of 360 days with the solar year of 365, we now have 2555 years (7 x 365) bringing us to 1948, the year Israel was established as a nation. Now Steve, please don’t tell me you think this is just a clever coincidence.

Regarding prophecies fulfilled for Israel since the late 1800s, let’s review these: (more coincidences???)
Prophecies regarding Israel’s regathering that have already been or are being fulfilled
      A. The fact that they would be regathered to the land (Isa. 43:5-6 & Jer 30:3), never again to be removed (Amos 9:14) on the (millennial) day (Isa 11:11)
      B. First Jewish settlement called Petiteekvah (meaning, “door of hope” – Hosea 2:15) established in 1878 A.D. following permission from Berlin Congress of Nations.
      C. Fishers (Zionism) & Hunters (Nazi Persecution). (Jer 16:15,16). We suggest that God used Nazi persecution to drive the Jews back to their land, but that Satan attempted to thwart God’s plan by using this same persecution to exterminate the Jews (the earthly seed).
      D. Remnant return weeping & crying after Holocaust (Jer 31:7-9).
      E. No longer servants in other lands in that (millennial) day (Jer 30:8)
      G. The city of Jerusalem restored to the Jewish people (Zech 12:6) in that (Millennial) day.
      H. Other nations (trees) springing to life along with Israel (fig tree) (Luke 21:29-30) points to nearness of the kingdom. (figs=Israel Jer 24 & Matt 21:19)

This teaching that Jerusalem has been abandoned by Jehovah is a BIG false teaching of the Watchtower Org. They never even talk about the “Gentile times” and have no idea what that is. They never use so many of the scriptures that prove that Jerusalem will be called back together and be Jehovah’s people again. And this can be proved by the New World Translation or the Bible of the King James or whatever translation you use.

The truth is, the ancient Jewish system of worship fulfilled God’s purpose in connection with it long ago: When it produced the Messiah to an expectant faithful few. Upon his final sojourn and entry into the holy city Jesus prophesied that the kingdom of God was going to be removed from the Jews and given to a nation producing its fruitage. That “nation” to which the kingdom was given is what Paul referred to as “the Israel of God” – the Christian congregation, which will ultimately be revealed from heaven as the New Jerusalem.

That the earthly city of Jerusalem was no longer the place where Jehovah’s name was to reside was unequivocally confirmed in the year 70 C.E. That is when the Roman armies under the command of General Titus utterly demolished the holy city and Herod’s temple. In that manner the Jewish system of things concluded, as both Jesus and Paul had forewarned.

The Jewish nation and Jerusalem had fulfilled God’s purpose and were subsequently made obsolete and were violently discarded.

millions of people hae been duped into believing that the modern state of Israel is the very centerpiece of Bible prophecy, nuclear-armed Israel and the present-day city of Jerusalem, with its Islamic Dome of the Rock situated on or near the site of the demolished Jewish temple, does not factor into prophecy at all.

The state of Israel was largely a creation and strategic asset of the British Empire. After the Treaty of Versailles brought an end to the First World War and the Ottoman Empire was dissolved, London stated their intentions to create a Palestinian state, in what is known as the Balfour Declaration. Then, after the Second World War, the modern state of Israel was established in 1947.

In recent years an assortment of Elmer Gantry-type Bible hucksters – mostly associated with the so-called fundamentalist/evangelical movement – have become ardent advocates of what is known as Zionism. They espouse that it is the duty of every Christian to support the political state of Israel, whatever the cost – even if it leads to another world war. (It would certainly suit the Devil’s purpose to stage an all-out war in the Middle East. And it is quite likely that Israel will detonate nuclear war in a pre-emptive attack on Iran, with the blessing and support of sorely misguided right-wing religious fanatics, who imagine they are hastening the day of their rapture

Steve – Can we presume that the Bible is your ultimate authority?  You seem to have ignored all the scriptural evidence we present on this website showing that God promised to regather Israel.  You have not presented one Bible verse to support you point of view.  As evidence, you point us to the 70 C.E. destruction of Jerusalem, ignoring that Jesus indicated this was temporary in this verse.

      Luke 21:24 NASB
and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

So Steve, the Gentile Times domination of Israel ended in 1914, hence they are now back in their land.  If God could cast the Jews out of Israel, do you think He is helpless to prevent them from returning, if that were his purpose?
