The Book of Revelation is a prophetic picture of the experiences and purpose of the Christian Age. Its symbols illustrate what the true Church would suffer at the hands of the false church and the glorious outcome of patient endurance through agonizing trials of faith. As with many prophecies, these events would not be fully understood by the Church until their fulfillment. But now, at the end of the Christian Age, since many of these prophecies have been fulfilled, we should expect to have a clearer insight into what the signs and symbols of Revelation mean. Indeed, this book itself reveals that the complete prophetic picture written in symbolic code should be shown only to the end time Church.
The end time will not be a time of peace. the world nations will be at war at the time of the end. untied states is the last nation to hold world power over the other nations. untied nations will have some power in last days that is soon to come. I am trying to figure out Revelation chapter 17. It is very interesting. I have few options about it but it is going to need deeper studying. I copied the Bible verse for wordpad and started typing things below to Bible verse. That is very handy for trying to figure out something in the Bible. Revelation 11 “Seven Times” in “Two Witnessings”

Very simple. Of course, it perfectly relates to Charles Russell “seven times” understanding because those 2520 years ended in 1914 as the 2520 days but BEGAN in the same year; and that is no accident!
The trick to the Rev7 “four winds” is at Matthew 24:31 where Christ’s words give the Rev7 context clue in that “from the four winds”, it is not a redundancy; every word of Christ has a distinct meaning for Rev1:1.
The “four winds” occurs in the complete world government Rev11,14,17,18 “one hour”, “in that hour”, which is under 100% complete 8th King world government and its final “depopulation” agenda going forth as Daniel 8:25 “bring many to ruin” where in the “freedom from care” is the same as the 1Thess5:1-3 “peace and security” of the final “world peace” of WORLD GOVERNMENT. (Dan11:44-45)
As we see in Matthew24:29-31, the “tribulation of those days” resolves on its own BEFORE Christ arrives, it is NOT the “great tribulation” zenith of Matthew 24:21-22 which is CUT SHORT AFTER Christ arrives. But you could view the “tribulation of those days” as Phase 1 of 2 of the “great tribulation” as the “totd” resolves into world government as the parallel of the Rev13:3 “sword stroke” of this final world war coming, “healing” BEFORE “the judgment” as per Isaiah 41:1.
THAT is the “four winds” parallel his angels Rev14:6-8,14-16 gather the final sheep from in the ps100:2 face of a complete world government he will then also wipe off the face of planet Earth.
THAT is how EVERY WORD from God and Christ have exact final meaning. (Rev1:1)
JW org will be “desolated” initial 3.19 years minimum as Daniel 8:13-14 (Rev8:1-8) (in Dan11:41-43 context), and the GB will be destroyed (Zech3:1-5) by God on CNN, soon, next, and first (1Pet4:17), and from that signal final “temple judgment” a final warning 1260 days will come forth which will thoroughly explain all this from the mouths of all who can understand it is Rev10:11 requirement to “prophesy again”, the final time of Rev9-11.

I say:
This is not true and it is misleading. The Book of Revelation is not about what the “true church” would suuffer at the hands of the “false church.” Churches have nothing to do with it. This prophetic book is about what Jesus prophetically said it would be at Revelation 1:1 and Matthew 24:7.
At Rev 1:1,Jesus said the contents of the book would show his servants the things which must SHORTLY take place. Well, the Apostle John – one of those servants – died almost 2000 years ago and the expression “SHORTLY” could hardly apply to him. Jesus meant a “SHORTLY” from the reference point of a future time period where ALL of mankind will have been resurrected into his future kingdom of 1000 years. (John 5:28-29) The existing kingdoms (notice the plural) will have been destroyed.
Matthew 24:7 mentions “Kingdom against Kingdom.” (Notice that it does not say kingdoms).
The Book of Revelation is about what will occur after Christs future 1000 year kingdom will have run it’s course and ended. What happens when his 1000 year kingdom ends? Satan is released from the Abyss to mislead that future united world that Christ’ Kingdom will have established on the earth. (Revelation 20:7-8)
The Book of Revelation is a warning to his servants (all of mankind born since Adam, to include that condemned man at Luke 23:43 who will go through Christs 1000 year paradise to learn to become his servants) what will happen AFTER his kingdom ends.
After Christ’s future kingdom ends and Satan ascends up out of the Abyss, he brings up with him his Beast and established his own “beneficial” peaceful and secure kingdom over the earth. (Rev 2:13 and Rev 13:2)
The Book of Revelation is about the contention between two kingdoms: The Kingdom of the Beast and the incoming Kingdom of God. (Kingdom against Kingdom)
This is what Jesus is warning about.
The Book of Revelation has nothing to do with the events of today. But no one is listening. The shoe (time period of today) does not fit.
Breaking and cracking codes are not necessary. It is misleading people away from listening to God and Christ. Jesus said at Revelation 1:3:
“Happy is he who reads aloud and those who hear the words of THIS prophecy, and who observe the things written in IT; for the appointed time is near.”
It is a grave mistake to refer to the Prophecies of Daniel or the other Prophets to make since of The Book of Revelation. Again, Jesus said, “Happy is he who reads aloud and those who hear the words of THIS prophecy, and who observe the things written in IT.”
At Matthew 24:3, if one takes a close look at the question Jesus’ disciples are asking him what will be the sign of his KINGDOM beginning (his return with kingdom power) AND in the same vein, when would his kingdom end. (Many think they are asking him about when this current world will end, that is NOT what they are asking him.) His disciples would not be interested in when “this” world would end, but the one that is to come: Christs future 1000 year kingdom that they would be in.
The Book of Revelation would show them and many other servants what must SHORTLY take place after Christs “definite” kingdom of 1000 years ends.
A deceptive operation is in work today and it has a tight hold on the many religious systems and their organizations that are teaching and applying the “The Revelation by Jesus Christ that God gave him” to our time period today.
This same deceptive operation is misleading the masses NOT to listen to Jesus words at Revelation 1:3 to “hear the words of THIS prophecy, and who observe the things written in it.” Other Prophets and prophecies are being consulted to “crack” a nonexistent code or make sense of the Book of Revelation. It is an act of disobedience.
The Most High God told us to listen to His Son. (Luke 9:35)
Daniel and the other Prophets have nothing to do with “The Revelation by Jesus Christ that God gave him.”

What is your understanding of The Church that is mentioned throughout the scriptures?
Let me share with you some articles to see if I could assist you. My own thinking was adjusted some time ago with references such as these (some recent WT considerations on the matter, please note that it is irrelevant to me if you still associate with the witnesses or not, just consider the content):
Ephesians 1:22-23
“And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church [ekklesia], which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.”
In his discussion of these verses in Word Studies From the Greek New Testament, Kenneth S. Wuest writes, “The Church [ekklesia] is described as that ‘which is His body.’ The word ‘which’ is hetis ‘which is of such a nature as,’ and has a qualitative nature to it.” The nature of ekklesia in this context comes from the association with its head, Jesus Christ.
Of the word “body,” soma, Expositor’s says:
The word soma, which passes readily from its literal meaning [the human body] into the figurative sense of a society, a number of men constituting a social or ethical union, . . . is frequently applied in the N.T. epistles to the Church, . . . as the mystical body of Christ, the fellowship of believers regarded as an organic [living] spiritual unity in a living relation to Christ, subject to Him, animated by Him, and having His power operating in it. The relation between Christ and the Church, therefore, is not an external relation. . . . (vol. 11, “Ephesians and Colossians,” p. 56, emphasis mine)
In other words, it is not bound by human convention. It is not bound by corporate laws that men establish, for Christ is in the ekklesia wherever its members may be.
Continuing from Wuest’s:
The relation between Christ and the Church, therefore, is not an external relation, or one simply of Superior and inferior, Sovereign and subject, but one of life and incorporation [within Him]. The Church is not merely an institution ruled by Him as President, a Kingdom in which He is the Supreme Authority, or a vast company of men in moral sympathy with Him, but a Society which is in vital connection with Him, having the source of its life in Him, sustained and directed by His power, the instrument also by which He works. (ibid., pp. 56-57)
This is the usage of ekklesia in the New Testament. It is a mystical body with no external relations. It is something that is internal; it is something mental; it is something of the spirit. It is not bound by race, by language, by city or state or nationality. It is not restricted to the earth or to time.
The word mystical means “having a spiritual meaning or reality that is neither apparent to the senses [an external relation, sensed by the eyes, ears, nose, mouth, touch] nor obvious to the intelligence; involving or having the nature of an individual’s direct subjective communion with God” (Webster’s Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary, 1985, p. 785). The church, the ekklesia, consists of those who have been called out by God, summoned by Him, to receive His Spirit and have direct communion with Him.
Paul makes a similar statement to Ephesians 1:22-23 in I Corinthians 12:12-13.
For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks [transcends national boundaries], whether slaves or free [transcends cultural or social status]—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
The ekklesia is not a humanly defined corporation, but the spiritual body of Christ, having the Spirit of God.

5 The corresponding Greek word is ek·kle·si´a, from two Greek words meaning “out” and “call.” It can be applied to a secular group, such as “the assembly” that Demetrius stirred up against Paul in Ephesus. (Acts 19:32, 39, 41) But the Bible generally uses it for the Christian congregation. The Anointed Congregation of God
6 Applying David’s words found at Psalm 22:22 to Jesus, the apostle Paul wrote: “‘I will declare your name to my brothers; in the middle of the congregation I will praise you with song.’ Consequently [Jesus] was obliged to become like his ‘brothers’ in all respects, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God.” (Hebrews 2:12, 17) David had praised God in the midst of the congregation of ancient Israel. (Psalm 40:9) However, to what was Paul referring when he said that Jesus praised God “in the middle of the congregation”? Which congregation?
7 What we read at Hebrews 2:12, 17 is significant. It shows that in an inclusive sense, Christ was a member of a congregation where he declared God’s name to his brothers. Who were those brothers? Those forming part of “Abraham’s seed,” the spirit-anointed brothers of Christ, “partakers of the heavenly calling.” (Hebrews 2:16–3:1; Matthew 25:40) Yes, the primary sense of “congregation” in the Christian Greek Scriptures is the composite group of spirit-anointed followers of Christ. These 144,000 anointed ones constitute “the congregation of the firstborn who have been enrolled in the heavens.”—Hebrews 12:23.
8 Jesus indicated that this Christian “congregation” was to be formed. About a year before his death, he told one apostle: “You are Peter, and on this rock-mass I will build my congregation, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.” (Matthew 16:18) Both Peter and Paul correctly understood that Jesus himself was the foretold rock-mass. Peter wrote that those who are built as “living stones” of a spiritual house on the rock-mass, Christ, were “a people for special possession [to] declare abroad the excellencies” of the One who called them.—1 Peter 2:4-9; Psalm 118:22; Isaiah 8:14; 1 Corinthians 10:1-4.
9 When did this “people for special possession” begin to be formed into the Christian congregation? It was at Pentecost 33 C.E. when God poured out holy spirit on the disciples assembled in Jerusalem. Later that day, Peter gave a masterful discourse to a group of Jews and proselytes. Many were stabbed to the heart over Jesus’ death; they repented and were baptized. We find in the historical report that three thousand did so, thereupon becoming part of the new and growing congregation of God. (Acts 2:1-4, 14, 37-47) It was growing because more and more Jews and proselytes accepted the fact that fleshly Israel was no longer the congregation of God. Rather, anointed Christians constituting the spiritual “Israel of God” had become the true congregation of God.—Galatians 6:16; Acts 20:28.
10 The Bible often makes a distinction between Jesus and the anointed ones, such as in the phrase “with respect to Christ and the congregation.” Jesus is the Head of this congregation of spirit-anointed Christians. Paul wrote that God “made [Jesus] head over all things to the congregation, which is his body.” (Ephesians 1:22, 23; 5:23, 32; Colossians 1:18, 24) Today, there remains on earth only a small remnant of the anointed members of this congregation. We can be sure, though, that their Head, Jesus Christ, loves them. His feelings toward them are described at Ephesians 5:25: “Christ also loved the congregation and delivered up himself for it.” He loves them because they actively offer to God “a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips which make public declaration to his name,” even as Jesus did when he was on earth.—Hebrews 13:15.

7 “Does this mean you view your Kingdom Halls as the true church?” No, the Kingdom Hall is not the “church.” Jehovah’s temple today is heavenly, spiritual. The English word “church” or “congregation” comes from the Greek word ek·kle·si´a, meaning “assembly.” Ek·kle·si´a or “congregation” is applied collectively to all Christians known as the anointed spirit-begotten class who are on earth at any particular time. Often it is applied to the local assembly in any place. Jesus called the members of his congregation a “little flock.” (Luke 12:32) Christ is the congregation’s Head. The members of his “body” number just 144,000. Paul tells us that God has made known to the Christian Church the mystery (secret) of his will which he had purposed in himself, and had never before revealed, though he had it recorded in dark sayings which could not be understood until due, in order that the eyes of our understanding should be opened to appreciate the “high calling” designed exclusively for believers of the Christian Age. (Ephesians 1:9, 10) by making known to us the sacred secret of his will. (Ephesians 3:4-6) So when you read this, you can realize my comprehension of the sacred secret of the Christ. 5 In other generations this secret was not made known to the sons of men as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by spirit, 6 namely, that people of the nations should, in union with Christ Jesus and through the good news, be joint heirs and fellow members of the body and partakers with us of the promise.
This shows us clearly that neither the prophets nor the angels understood the meaning of the prophecies uttered. Peter says that when they inquired anxiously to know their meaning, God told them that the truths covered up in their prophecies were not for themselves, but for us of the Christian Age. And he exhorts the Church to hope for still further grace (favor, blessing) in this direction—yet more knowledge of God’s plans. 1 Pet. 1:10-13 It is evident that though Jesus promised that the Church should be guided into all truth, it was to be a gradual unfolding.
Revelation is the culmination of 1st edition Israel’s convoluted Journey as they are led by the Jehovah’s angel* from Jehovah’s demand to Pharaoh recorded in Exodus 4:22-23:

Jehovah’s wrath was only ever with Israel for their disobedience of the law only they had and not mankind. That wrath continues until all of the little flock comprising second edition Israel, an amalgam of Jews and Gentiles, are seated in heavenly governance. That terminates Jehovah’s exclusive relationship with the Israel f the Exodus redeemed by the lamb but becoming a harlot just the same in an adulterous relationship with the secular state that has continued to this day save for a few of the many chosen, who have remained faithful to their bridegroom Christ.
In the light of Israel’s OT history and purpose in the context of current fulfilment of the march of world powers, Revelation can be clearly understood without codes.
Revelation is entirely about Abraham’s seed Israel (Galatians 3:18-19) who will ultimately become a blessing to all humans willing to yield to their benign but firm rule as the Kingdom of God under Christ.
Can’t be all that difficult to get our heads around that.
