Apostasy Trial Video – JW “Eric” from “JW Struggle” website disfellowshipped right before your very eyes

Brother Eric – Our prayers are with you as you are going through this very terrible trial.  We pray for you and your family and want to encourage you in every emotional and spiritual way possible.  We trust the Apostle Paul’s words, that “all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to his purposes.” – Peter K

This is the live video of Eric from JWSTRUGGLE heresy trial. Go to part 3.

http://www.jwstruggle.com/2012/09/apostasy-trial-first-video/
Part 4 is here and he is working on Part 5
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zcvocGamQg&feature=youtu.be

Eric says, “My judicial trial is now over. The elders were not arrogant or mean spirited. Mutual respect was shown by all four of us, but these men were compelled to follow the Watchtower policy playbook, and by those standards of men they had no alternative but to disfellowship me. I do not blame them, and harbor no ill will towards them.

After much prayer I felt that I had to let my light shine, and that the Lord was with me, giving me the words that I should say. I was found guilty of “apostasy” as defined by the Watchtower Organization, and they will be announcing that I am no longer one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Tuesday the 25th of September. I am not devastated, nor downhearted. Quite the contrary, as literally hundreds of people have been expressing their thanks and prayers in my behalf. It is overwhelming and very much a humbling experience for me.”

    ALOHA JACQUELINE,

I JUST TURN 60….I HAVE LIVED THE SAME LIFE YOU WENT THROUGH WITH AN EXTENSIVE FAMILY WHO IS INVOLVE IN THE ORGANIZATION TODAY. IT PAINS ME TO SEE THE FAMILIES BE LEAD BY THE MAGNIFICENCE 7…LOL.. NAMED AFTER A MOVIE….IT’S HARD FOR CHILDREN TO LIVE THIS KIND OF LIFE BUT WHEN YOU DON’T KNOW ANY DIFFERENCE YOU THINK ITS OK BECAUSE YOUR PARENTS SAYS SO. WHEN YOU LEAVE THE ORGANIZATION YOU EMBARK ON A JOURNEY TO SEEK TRUE KNOWLEDGE THATS SET YOU APART ISN’T IT FUNNY HOW WHEN YOU WERE IN THE ORGANIZATION YOU WERE DIFFERENT FROM THE WORLD AND NOW YOU ARE AGAIN DIFFERENT BUT THIS TIME TO THE ORGANIZATION. I THINK WE ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE SEEKERS OF THE TRUTH AND WE SHOULDN’T BE JUDGE AT ALL ITS JUST THE WAY THE PATH OF OUR LIFE IS GOING…AND THE ORGANIZATION JUST CAN’T GET IT OR UNDERSTAND IT….SOOOO SAD… WITH ENLIGHTENMENT
    TAKE CARE .. JESS

Jess I knew you were the wisest 22 year old in the world but 60 sounds more like the words you are writing. I view my life as a witness as an experience not a life sentence and have finally learned to file it away and more on. I had the grace from God to have found a lady answering the phone on a stormy night in 2009 who I now know as Sis. Beard. I dial 1800 gods plan and asked this kind voice who she was because what I read kinda sounded like the witnesses but yet not like them. So i adjusted quickly because i had a huge support system without any pressure. I am grateful for that. However now I know Christ expect me to reach out and help others like I was helped. I was in pretty bad shape when I left. I had gone to court and fought with the society for a few years on the pedophilia and sexual crimes within the organization and they fought back. But now I am okay.
Funny you say the magnificent 7. I have seen that movie about 3 times in my life. You have adjusted well also. I can’t believe we were afraid of some men that like the emperor without clothes on, they actually had no power what so ever. It is all in the minds of the witnesses because they (we) believed these men when they said God appointed them over everything. Jim Jones had lawyers and doctors that believed him and we thought they were crazy, well were also. But now I try to get ones coming out to see they are not disobeying God when they come out but instead he is pleased that they are searching for him. I think the governing body will escape with millions of their billions when things get tough. They already have accounts all over and didn’t take the info away from Barbara Anderson before they disfellowshipped her and she post all their dummy corporations.
I am so glad to see a female almost my age be so cheerful and free. Love you. Jacqueline

    ALOHA JACQUELINE,

LIVING HERE IN HAWAII YOU’RE SURROUNDED BY SO MUCH DIFFERENT CULTURES, RELIGION ,RACES. WHEN I WAS LITTLE I PLAYED WITH THE WORLDLY KIDS ON OUR BLOCK AND WE DIDN”T THINK IT WAS WRONG UNTIL I TURN 9 THATS WHEN OUR ASSOCIATION WAS MORE DEFINE BY THE ORGANIZATION SO IT MADE YOU FEEL YOU WAS DIFFERENT WHAT AN IMPACT IT DID TO YOUR MIND AT SUCH A YOUNG AGE. NO MATTER HOW OLD YOU ARE YOU WILL HAVE SOME RESIDUE FROM THIS ORGANIZATION. SO AT 22 MY WORLD OPEN UP AND I MET ALOT OF GOOD PEOPLE OF DIFFERENT RACE AND RELIGION AND YOU THINK HOW CAN THESE PEOPLE WILL DIE AT ARMAGEDDON JUST BECAUSE THEY BELIEVE DIFFERENTLY. LIFE IS ABOUT CHOICES…LIFE IS SIMPLE… WE MAKE IT HARD OR EASY .. WHAT I DO KNOW IS LIVING IN THE NOW WE CAN’T CHANGE THE PAST AND THE FUTURE IS UNFORESEEN. MY HOPE IS WHATEVER GOD AND JESUS HAS IN STORE FOR US I LEAVE IT TO THEM TO DECIDE MY FATE….TAKE CARE , JESS

Aloha Jessica, wow you live in paradise! I too grew up playing with everyone in the neighborhood. My parents never stopped us from being a part of the community. When I became a teenager my boyfriend and close friends were witnesses by my own choice. I also had boyfriends not witnesses in school, crushes and the whole ball of wax, LOL. My parents let us be children.
Then the governing body was formed in the 1970’s and my children grew up under this tyrannical regime, they know nothing else. So it is difficult for them. I show my grandchildren a different life as I never go to the kingdom hall when in their home for weeks babysitting and give them gifts and gift cards on their birthdays. Their parents like them seeing another side to life. My leaving has had an effect on all 250 of the witnesses in my family as I put it out there in their face. Many I found had left but kept it quiet. Now no one is afraid to miss meetings or stop and the family ignores it as long as they don’t create a stink by trying to make everybody else leave. So we have learned to live together over the last 6 years. Like siblings, you find your place in the family with some pushing and shoving,LOL.
You sound so mature for your age, and your parents are gems to not shun such a beautiful daughter.
Not only will they not die at armageddon but many will welcome the rule of Christ after he subject these governments to him. HE IS NOT GOING TO KILL HIS SUBJECTS! That is crazy for them to teach that his death of redemption can’t save but a few little hand full of people calling themselves Jehovah witnesses. It is a CON by 6 men and a token 7th man that is there to satisfy the black persons in the religion. They are businessmen running a very lucritive organization for profit.
It is not about Jesus as he had nothing of worldly goods and concerns. They have as much as their counterpart the Catholic Church. They are worth Billions and the heads of the giant corporation live like kings and use religion to get charitable status and not pay taxes or salaries to those poor circuit overseers, pioneers and bethel workers. I like having an outlet to discuss spiritual things as we can’t live without GOD. We are even hardwired to look for our creator and now I know his SON too. I am in Happy Heaven at age 68 after spending 62 years on a journey of experience. It was not a life sentence just an experience with the witnesses. Those still in are happy and I never try to make their religion a problem for them. They have rights also. I just had to stop them from saying I couldn’t leave. My family get that now. I have lots of friends now. Take Care little enlightened one. Jacqueline

    ALOHA ERIC

IT WAS REALLY UPLIFTING TO LISTEN TO YOUR TRIAL…I TOO WAS RAISE IN THE TRUTH AS THEY SAY. I RESIGN WHEN I WAS 22 YEARS OLD KNOWING THAT IF I DIDN”T DO THAT THEY WOULD HAVE GONE AFTER ME SO I MADE IT KNOWN TO MY FAMILY WHO IS STILL JW THAT I WAS TAKING A NEUTRAL STAND . SO THEY COULDN”T DF ME CAUSE I NO LONGER WAS A MEMBER OF THS MAN MADE ORGANIZATION. I WAS VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE LOVING PARENTS WHO STILL EMBRACE ME AND NEVER DISOWN ME HOPING THAT SOME DAY I WOULD COME BACK. BUT MY SISTER N BROTHER SHUN ME EVEN THO MY PARENTS WOULD SAY THAT WAS NOT A LOVING THING TO DO. FEAR IS THE MOTIVATOR WHY MEMBERS
STAY LOSING OUT ON EVERLASTING LIFE AND KNOWING THAT IF THEY DID WHAT YOU DID WOULD LOSE THEIR FAMILY FOREVER WHICH IS TRULY SAD. THE REAL TRUTH IS STAYING TRUE TO YOURSELF AND HAVING FAITH THAT GOD N JESUS
TRULY LOVES YOU AND IN THE END WE ALL MUST FACE OUR MAKER.

    MAHALO,

I am new here and try to “find my feet”. But there was something I like to say to this. I was 40 years member of JW, but 25 years ago I became a born again Christian. I cannot tell what happened in the spiritual world about me, what decisions had to be taken; but I remember one day (night) going home from my mom I was looking at a very starry night and all of a sudden I got this feeling in my heart:

Dear God, I have this strange feeling “that I am coming further and further away from you. So, I feel like you don`t want me, but even though I still want you”.

After 40 years as a member of JW. So, what happened? I had this “revelation” in my heart. God loves me. He loves me and wants me. So, I started to watch a Christian broadcasting in the Telly and here I was explained the Bible, God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Just remember; I new the Bible, I have read it trough several times and I knew all the literature from Watchtower with all “the explanations”.

But, very strange to me, here I got answers I never found before (40 years). I was serving in the congregation for many times and was a leader for a group in the congregation and was pioneering several times and gave public talks etc.

So, I found of many things I was not aware of, but now it gave answers.

So, I started to attend a born again church and the people welcome me. The first thing I remember I was thinking was; “this is really something JW must hear and know, since apparently they don`t know this. So I told my group and the congregation.

To my surprise they did not want it and after some time gave me a choice; it is either us or them. I chose “them”, and they announced to a meeting (I was there in the middle just wanted to be present when “they” announced my leave), that “I was not a member anymore and a person not to be associated with and I lost all friends and family.

I have no angry to them or any one.

So, here I am to day 25 years after. My love for Jesus is as new as it was from the first day and I see many churches with different attitude in Jesus, but all of them loves Jesus.

I also found out of the question of the trinity and found out that God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are just one and the same being and not 3 different gods.

To day we name God with the name Jesus and call upon his name.

About Charles Taze Russell and J.F. Rutherford and brother N.Knoor and Brother Franz, I met them and I have read everything of Watchtower literature.

The “truth” is in the Bible and the Holy Spirit. To day I do not calculate about 1914, 1935, 1948, 1954, 1975, 2000 or any other date.

The “day” is to day and another day and another day. To day Jesus is leading my footsteps and everyone else’s footsteps, just let him.

Jesus is the same to day as ever. He is God and has reviled himself to us if we would like him.
I understand you still use the name Jehova and I do not set that name apart or aside. This is also a name we people have constructed to name God.

The Bible teach God name to be; “I Am” because that was God answer to Moses when he asked. Actually this was what was written above the Cross to name Jesus.

So, thank you for letting me write this and God bless you. Here I will give you this music and praise to comfort you and give you a beautiful day. (just skip the ad – skip ads) (they are also my brothers and sisters; I love you)

Good day to all of you.

I like to carry on from “what I mentioned before”:

“The Bible teach God name to be; “I Am” because that was God answer to Moses when he asked. Actually this was what was written above the Cross to name Jesus”.

On the Cross? Yes, on the Cross. Can we be sure? Yes we can:

“Pilate refused to revise the epitaph he had composed. This may have more significance than is apparent in our English translations. The Hebrew epitaph is shown below (remember Hebrew is read from right to left):

Ha Yehudi m vMelech HaNazarei Yeshua
        4 3 2 1
        YHWH
        1234
        H W H Y
Yeshua HaNazarei v Melech HaYehudim: Jesus the Nazarei and King of the Jews.

What we don’t notice in the English translation is that the acrostic made up of the first letter of each word spells out Yahweh (YHWH)!
        quote end.

So, is Jesus JHVH? Well, yes he is.

But God (JHVH / I Am) is not a human being, is he not? Correct, God is not a human being. God is spirit. Not “a spirit”, but just Spirit. John 4:24

Colossians 2:9 “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity dwells in bodily form”.

So, if Jesus is God, who is the Holy Spirit (along that line?) Is the Holy Spirit another God or “a god” or a third god? No, absolutely not. There is only one God (Bible God, Israel God, Jews God and our God) JHVH / I Am.

But, why then are we talking about the holy trinity? Because God himself “reviled” himself that way. First of all as “a spirit” (Genesis 1:1–2); then as “the Father”(Exodus 3:6) and finely as “the Son”(Luke 1:35) “… Colossians 2:9 “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity dwells in bodily form”.

So, we (as born again Christians) have only one true God, (The Greatest Commandment Deuteronomy 6:4)

“O Israel, you should listen and be careful to do it, that it may be well with you and that you may multiply greatly, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in a land flowing with milk and honey. 4″Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one! 5″You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.…
        quote end.

So, does it mean, that by calling Jesus, you will be saved? Does it mean, that there is no other (greater) name for God than Jesus?

        Well, yes it does.

Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
        * The word call means, in this verse, to pray.

Acts 4:12 “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Now, what does it mean all of this? Why do we engage in “religion” or why do we sort of “need a faith”? Why do we find God, worshipping and why, why and why?

As far as I remember, being a member of Jehovah Witnesses it is all about, Charles Taze Russell (he found out; what?) and then later on during his “service”, fighting all other religions to end up with his own discoveries, all the books and magazines produced by Watchtower (that is “what it was in the beginning” and later on with the name Watchtower) many names, many titles, many talks, many meetings and many conventions and explanations and film and radio and a lot of discussions.

Ok, this is USA and here; freedom of speech, religion, mind, opinions and freedom to believe what you like; but once Jehovah Witnesses and also during the membership – your personal freedom is taken away from you.

You try to say something contrary to the teachings to the Watchtower and then,,,,,, you will find out what freedom is.

But to enrol in the first place; why?

Hm, it is likely to save yourself. The teachings are; save yourself before it is too late and before Jehovah murder (kill) everyone else (about 7 billion individuals, not being member of Jehovah Witnesses) those Jehovah do not like or love.

So, it goes for many sects as well and as long as you are “blundered” into this everything is all right.

But “in the beginning”, as we read in the Bible; JHVH / I AM hoovered over the “abyss” or “Tehom; that is the “Spirit” namely the Holy Spirit.

Have you ever thought of this; Genesis 1:1 we are billions of years on the way to become our planet and the “creation” of it.

About 5 billion years of our solar system and when the dust became ready from the spinning of the Milky way and the spinning of the Sun (Galilee), eventually it all (in good order) assembled into all the planets around the Sun and here, also became the planet Earth about 4.5 billion years ago.

          About 8 + 1 + + + and eventually / perhaps Nibiru (planets in all)(http://www.krschannel.com/nibiru-.html)

          So, what are we expecting?

As a born again Christian I expect to “go to heaven” one day. To be with Jesus. Being with Jesus you will also be with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit because we are talking about the same being in different appearance and tasks all along time. Only one.

You know all the information in Revelation 7. So, we love Jesus because he has saved us.

      • greg (Bible Student)

        Lincoln,

When I read about your experience of getting a powerful and somewhat strange feeling in your heart, I found myself remembering an experience I once had. I once had an opportunity to speak to a close, dear, and trusted JW elder about my ideas, my understandings, my fears, and even about my deep and troubling doubts. I asked him, “But how do you KNOW? What is it that enables you to be so SURE?”

He looked at me with compassion, gentleness, kindness, respect, and deep love and then said the following words with the greatest sincerity and honesty: “Greg, this probably won’t help you much, but for me, it’s a feeling.”

At the time I was SO frustrated! I don’t think I ever heard words that were so far from helpful. I never heard a reply that was more puzzling, disturbing, and unexpected.

And yet, a few years later, I wrote him a letter thanking him sincerely. I told him about my reaction to his words at the time. I also told him how I had since come to appreciate the surprising and refreshing truthfulness of his response. I told him how much I now appreciated the usefulness of his words, and how much they had come to be treasured by me, how instrumental they had become to me. Really, I found that there was a profound truth I never imagined possible nestled deep within those seemingly cryptic words of his.

Since hearing his sincere reply to my sincere questions, I have come to believe that a person needs to FEEL (as in: perceive through the senses) the “truth” of matters. (Romans 1:20) It seems to me though, that many persons tend towards either ONLY feelings, or ONLY intellect, whereas Jesus expressed the idea that is was essential to learn to Worship God using BOTH feelings (spirit) and intelligence (truth). So for me, I now make it my goal to try to integrate both feelings and logic in my study of the Bible.

But honestly, try as I might, I can neither perceive through my senses, nor logically conclude the Trinity to be consistent with Bible Truth. So, I am wondering what convinced you to accept the doctrine of the Trinity? I tried to wrap my head around that idea but just couldn’t reconcile it with so many scripture passages that didn’t and couldn’t make sense to me if I tried to hold to the view that all 3 persons were the same person.

For example, I’m wondering how you come to subscribe to the Trinity concept in light of these scriptures (to present just a tiny few):

        Mark 14:36
        Colossians 1:15
        Matthew 24:36
        John 5:21-23, 26, 30-37

I’m also wondering how would you respond to the various ideas and discussions on the topic of the Trinity which can be found here:

        https://www.friendsofjehovahswitnesses.com/category/trinity/

Dear greg, thank you for your fine comment to my writings.

I really appreciate it and I like to give my understanding what is in my heart.

One thing is what you feel and another thing what you understand, I agree. But feelings and understanding is difficult “things”. I am sure JW “feel” and “understand” what they think is correct; this is the whole concept, but to me they are Grand Canyon far away from “the Truth”.

So, that feeling when the Holy Spirit comes to you is something very special. John 14 18

          Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit.

…17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and He will be in you. 18I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19In a little while, the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you also will live.…
          quote end.

          >THE SCRIPTURAL CASE FOR JESUS’ PRE-HUMAN EXISTENCE
          What is The Word?
John 1:1, “In the beginning was The Word”. [He had a beginning.]
          quote end. <

          My coments:

No, it does not say ”he had a beginning”, but it says ”The Word was, in the beginning (of corse).

”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”.
          Quote end.

          My comments:

So, the short one: Who is "the Word"? The Word is Jesus, but is also God.

Who is "the Holy Spirit"? Jesus said: "I will come to you … ". And he did on "the day of Pentecost" (revealing himself as the Holy Spirit as God).

God and the Holy spirit are one.

          THE HOLY SPIRIT

In Hebrew, the original inspired language of the Tanach (Old Testament), the word 'Ruach' cannot be construed as a person. It is a force. It is invisible and like wind, because it can be felt or experienced, but not seen. It is the breath of God which disperses His life-force, His energy and His intentions/mind.

It is Yahweh's Spirit which is is omnipresent, but also can be directed in specific ways for specific purposes. It is not His actual Person (which remains incorporeal and outside of the physical dimension) that manifests itself in the world, or which comes to dwell in the hearts and lives of His people.

His spirit can be said to be the emanation of His life-force – i.e. breath.

          Definition of spirit/ruach:

“The basic meaning of ruach is both ‘wind’ or ‘breath,’ but neither is understood as essence; rather it is the power encountered in the breath and the wind, whose whence and whither remains mysterious…

          2. ruach as a designation for the wind is necessarily something found in motion with the power to set other things in motion… The divine designation also apparently has an intensifying function in a few passages: ruach elohim (Gen 1:2) and ruach yhwh (Isa 59:19)”

(Theological Lexicon of the Old Testament, “Ruach”).

This lexicon also states that ruach (Strongs 7307) implies a power that is within the breath and wind, which is connected to the Name Yahweh.

The Holy Spirit is the power emanating from Yahweh, the Heavenly Father.

It is Yahweh’s power that puts all things into motion. It is Yahweh’s power through His ruach that breathes life into His creation and makes things live.

The Greek word for Spirit is pneuma (Strongs 4151), which has a similar meaning to the word ruach. “Pneuma; to breathe, blow, primarily denotes the wind. Breath; the spirit which, like the wind, is invisible, immaterial, and powerful”
(The Complete Word Study New Testament, “Pneuma”).

The word for “spirit” (rucha, ruach) in Aramaic and Hebrew, is feminine whereas in Greek (pneuma), it is neuter in gender.
In some occasions in the Greek text, masculine verb endings and pronouns are used with the neuter gender word “Spirit" when speaking about the holy Spirit, and sometimes it is without the definite article – i.e. just “holy Spirit”.

Although in the Aramaic text rucha is feminine, it also uses masculine grammatical forms with the word.
This conveys the male/female attributes of Yahweh carried in His ‘breath’ which of itself is neuter in gender.

Being often addressed as “it" and “the", also confirms that it is not another “Person" in a trinity of ‘gods’.

The term, “holy Spirit" is a descriptive title and not a name.

It is a description given for a specific manifestation of the Father’s Spirit Being.
The absence of a personal name indicates that the holy Spirit is not a Person in and of itself, nor is it ever addressed as a third “Person”.

Very significant also that the Holy Spirit is never worshipped.

“And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto Him that sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.” Revelation 5:13

Neither is there any evidence in the scriptures that the Father or the Son communicate with the Holy Spirit.

Paul never addressed the Holy Spirit in any of his greetings in his letters, as he does to the Father and the Son. There is no instance either of anyone praying to or fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit.

“That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you also, that you also may have fellowship with us: yes, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.” 1 John 1:3
          ___________________________________________________________

John 1:14, “The Word [already existing] was made flesh and dwelt among us…”

1 John 1:1, “That which was from the beginning…our hands have handled the Word of Life.” [Clearly, “the Word” is Jesus]

Revelation 19:13 “…His name is called The Word [Logos] of God”. [this is Jesus] *see note below on “Logos.” In Rev 19:13 – “Logos” a noun as in John 1:1, not an adjective.

Summary: In the above passages of scripture The Word is just not a thought or plan, but is a person. John 1:14, 1 John 1:1 and Revelation 19:13 demonstrate that “The Word” in John 1:1 is an entity, a person, a being.

          Also note:

The Word was from the beginning. What beginning? Certainly before his birth! 1 John 1:1 refers to the Word as a person who had a beginning.
(no,it does not, but of course" in the beginning; the word was, naturally)

THE ORIGIN OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

The term in the Hebrew that is translated as 'Holy Spirit' is 'Ha Ruach Ha Kodesh.' There is a specific intention in the terminology “Holy Spirit” as compared to the reference to His Spirit without the definition of “holy”.

The Spirit or ‘ruach’ by itself, is the breath of Yahweh which carries His life-force, but not necessarily the Presence of His Person.

When the term “holy Spirit” is used, it denotes the special emanation of the Spirit of God which originates from His throne into our physical world to convey His personal Presence and power. It is dispensed from Him so that He might achieve His purposes in fellowshipping with man, making His will known and performing His mighty acts in miracles, healings and various other interventions in the normal occurrence of events in the world.

The holy Spirit is not a separate being, but an emanation, a power that proceeds from (goes out from, or exits) the Father, and is poured out upon His people (Isaiah 32:15, 44:3; Acts 2:17).

“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. John 15:26

“But the Helper, the holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” John 14:26

The holy Spirit originates from the Father and is sent by both the Father and the Son. “Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the holy Spirit, He (Yeshua) poured out this which you now see and hear ..” Acts 2:33

The holy Spirit was with the believers before the resurrection, but not in them. He was able to send the holy Spirit after His ascension. which would take His place with and in them.

          “And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you.
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” John 14:16-18.

Note that the disciples already knew the holy Spirit and that He dwelt with them, but they were to receive the Spirit within them after Yeshua’s resurrection (John 20:20-22) and later, on the day of Pentecost, they were immersed/baptised in the holy Spirit as(Acts 2).

Previously, the holy Spirit had only moved upon men from without. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21)

The difference was in the Spirit being with them in what they did beforehand, and afterward being in them, empowering them from within. All of this indicating that there are differences of operation by the holy Spirit “differences of ministries, but the same Lord and diversities of activities but the same God” 1 Corinthians 12:5-6

The Holy Spirit takes the Son’s place in ministry on earth when Christ ascends in glory to heaven “If I do not go away the Helper will not come to you, but if I depart, I will send him to you.” John 16:7

“I will not leave you orphans, I will come to you." John 14:18

”But the Helper, the holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things ..” John 14:26

“ …. for He will take of mine and declare it unto you. All things that the Father has are mine. Therefore I said that he will take of mine and declare it to you" John16:15

“the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us" Romans 8:26,27
“For it is not you that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaks in you.” Matthew 10:20.

“as a many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Romans 8:14

so, to understand John 1:1 yu will have to understand the Hebrew word Ruach Hako'desh,

Ruach Hako`desh is actually God`s name too. So, here in John 1:1 it says, that God ”was in the beginning” and not (God had a beginning).

It also says, that God also is called ”the Word”, and a ”togetherness” was between God and Ruach (naturly) and finely conclusion:

the Word = God / and not ”a god” as JW teach.

In the Christian church as far as I understand we are not talking about 2 or 3 different persons (gods) but only one being, one God as Deuteronomy 6:4 says:

O Israel, you should listen and be careful to do it, that it may be well with you and that you may multiply greatly, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in a land flowing with milk and honey. 4"Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one! 5"You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

          Quote end.

So, how many Gods am I talking about (are we Christians talking about?

          Only one (as yourself).

When we sing "Welcome Holy Spirit", it is as welcome to God.

So, we do not believe in 3 gods but only one. Now it is personally.

          Hope to hear from you.

          God bless you.

            Lincoln,

I read your reply and it would seem to me that we agree on many things. I also find it interesting that your line of argument and the points you make are nearly identical to the ones I would use. What is surprising to me is that, even though we use the same pool of evidence, one or two of the conclusions you reached are markedly different from the conclusions I’ve reached.

I’m happy to see that Jacqueline is trying to put you in contact with Kent so you can communicate in your preferred language.

It’s been a pleasure to converse with you. Hopefully you and Kent will continue to enjoy pleasant conversations. I’ll try to follow along as I am able. 🙂

Greg it is okay to continue your conversations, it is just there is a set of brothers (xjw) nearer to him also and they would like to connect. But you guys keep talking.

PS: For those of you that Br. Kent, his father passed away and he is making funeral arrangements now, so this is a very difficult experience that he is going thru.

            • Lincoln

              Greg, friend. Thank you.

Yes it is interesting that we come to “almost” 2 different conclusions.

My understanding to day is; God is spirit. (not a spirit, but spirit) We do not know “what” God is, just this one; God is spirit. When use this word (Hebrew/Greek) ruach or pneuma is used and refer to “what is not of earthly, physical, Universal (atoms and molecule)”, but an existence in another dimension of what /which we do not know.

              The question is:

Is it possible for God to “enter” our dimension? Is it possible for “spiritual” beings to “enter” our dimension?

Has God ever reviled himself to us earthly ones in “matter”? The answer to these questions is yes.

So, therefore it is not difficult to understand Jesus deity.

If not, it would not give any meaning. It is not Jesus flesh and blood in physical matter (that matters) represent or is God, but it is what is within Jesus bodily appearance that matters, his spirit.

I gave a scripture to “prove” it. So, Jesus has double nature.

That is what makes it difficult to understand and as far as I see it, we can only understand it by the Holy Spirit if he reveals it to us.

The same goes with the Holy Spirit.

You and I can agree because as you say: we are actually talking about the same things with different approach (the way I understand what you write).

Many places in the Bible we find that once the faithful ones pray, sing and dance for God, “things” happens in our spirit.

So, singing, praising and dancing to God, for God and open up and let the Holy Spirit work within us “things happens”.

Would it be possible for a person like you with your “understanding” and a person with my “understanding” to joining in the same worship of the almighty?

Yes I think so. Yes,we can worship God together.

Would God (no matter if you use JHVH, I Am, or perhaps the constructed name Jehovah or Jesus) would God accept us, would Jesus? Yes God will.

Because he loves us and we should love each other.

Lyrics to, How He Loves Us

              He is jealous for me
              Love’s like a hurricane,
              I am a tree
              Bending beneath the weight of
              His wind and mercy
When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory
and I realize just how beautiful You are and how great your affections are for me.

Oh, how He loves us so
              Oh, how He loves us
              How He loves us so.
              (x2)

              Yeah, He loves us
              Whoa, how He loves us
              Whoa, how He loves us
              Whoa, how He loves.
              (x2)

              We are His portion and
              He is our prize,
              Drawn to redemption
by the grace in His eyes
If grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking
So heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss and my heart turns
              violently inside of my chest
I don’t have time to maintain these regrets when I think about the way

              He loves us,
              whoa, how He loves us
              whoa, how He loves us
              Whoa, how He loves
              (x2)

              Yeah, He loves us
              Whoa, how He loves us
              Whoa, how He loves us
              Whoa, how He loves.

              Yeah, He loves us
              He loves us
              He loves us
              He loves.

              Yeah, He loves us
              Whoa, how He loves us
              Whoa, how He loves us
              Whoa, how He loves

              He loves us,
              Whoa, how He loves us
              Whoa, how He loves us
              Whoa, how He loves
              quote end.

Greeg, I know before I joined you people here it would (maybe) would be difficult for you to accept me because of your “inheritance”, but I gave it a chance and you welcomed me.

So, we are just speaking together to “find out”.

We (calling ourselves) born again Christians are “mad” about Jesus and to us Jesus is supreme. We talk about Jesus and we sing to Jesus and we pray to Jesus all the time. To us, God came and revealed himself to us as one of us.

The salvation we cannot thank for, but take with joy and love.

              God Bless you.

      Hello Jessica.

I like the phrase “taking a neutral stand.” To me it suggest a desire for mutual respect and consideration, especially in those areas where we entertain differing views. Sounds very peaceful to me, very conducive to growth and learning.

Hi Jessica thanks for your comment I will go tell Eric you wrote to him. He might come over and speak directly to you. He has done good since this, it was hard and we were in his corner as his world fell apart simply because he was using his brain to think about what their 7 businessmen are doing and expect thinking people to follow them like JIm Jones. I am so glad to see you got out early. I was in there 62 years but wiser now and doing fine. I have some siblings that shun me and some don’t. I have 2 sons and their families that don’t shun me but one son and his family that do and try to harm me with verbal abuse at family events. But I don’t even think about it anymore just keep quiet and realize they are adults and my job is over.
What is your life like now? Did you go to college? At 22 you had a lot ahead of you. Take care. Jacqueline

  • yes Randy you are right when you say one must live the masses to find the truth . Yes indeed I was amongst them for 10 years but left them 15 years , realasing now that the all thing is a fack . You see Randy I was told at the time by congrerant and elderly to live women alone and to seek the kingdom Mt6:33, so this to me means they do not have the truth because I am ask to look for the kingdom which means that I can not preach something which I do not have. Futher more I have realised that the truth preach by the witnesses is nothing more of the contant of the holy bible which most humans and churchs do have in any case our days. The only problem here is , that we have been hook’t by witnesses because of our lake of reeding’t . Please know that the truth is the bible alone and was set and finich’t a litel more than 1900 years ago, and no other truth can be added to’t.. only Hab2:3 wich stil awayt’s has to come on the world stage and that alone is the fulfillment of Jesus thought in Mt24:14 it Make’s one tink ient’t . These sisters which often swing there small asses always thinking there are spiritually stronger then brothers or man, they will have to give here some thought !. This message is not trusted but thrusted in there faces by john !.

Eric, You did something I refused to do, and that was to sit down and express myself to a commitee.I just wrote a letter of disassociation from the Jw organization, similar to the one they told me to write to the Catholic Church 30 years earlier.I gave it to several close friends and to 3 congregations. At that time I told them to not bother calling me an apostate cause that is just one of the fear tactics they use. I’ve never looked back. I’m studing Pastor Russells writings and oh what an entirely different spirit that dear one has.
Agreed with your points on the blood, cannibolism,UN thing.I also found that in Pastor Russells day they had withdrawal letters you could send for .Continue to draw near to Him and He will draw. near to you. Sincerely Deone

  • jacqueline

I will pass that on to Erick. Thank you for your encouraging words for all of us. I like where you said truth is not revealed yet to the whole world. It is not yet the time for world conversion. In Christ

  • Randy

Hello!…The awakening has begun. You followed your soul. The wheat has been separated from the thistle.Truth is given on an individual basis. If ones intention is to find truth and shout it to the world, then truth will remain hidden. If God wanted the world to know, they would. There is a reason God holds back truth until the time of testing. On an individual basis, truth can be found, depending on your intentions and motivations…Jesus said,”You must fast from the world to see the Father’s kingdom”(Gospel of Thomas)…In the same way,you must separate yourself from the masses to find truth.God has separated you for a purpose. You have been pointed into the direction of truth.Pursue it and reap the rewards and justice will come.Don’t limit yourself.Seeing what’s false is part of seeing what’s true.Seeing both builds the full picture and brings true understanding.I dare say, your future is brighter than you know.I have never been a part of any church of any denomination, but I know a true brother when one is presented.Your journey has just begun…God Bless…
