Who are the Friends of Jehovah’s Witnesses who have created this website?
We are your brothers and sisters, the children of the original Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, founded and guided by Pastor Charles Taze Russell until his death in 1916. Afterward, Judge Rutherford took control of the Society, removed the editorial committee (designated in Pastor Russell’s Will) and cast out of Bethel those still loyal to the original teachings. Many left the Society as they saw the doctrines changing and the spirit of love changing to the spirit of fear. Many of those who left, or were disfellowshipped, formed the Associated Bible Students. We are set up just like the original Bible Students in the days of Pastor Russell. There is no governing body, except that Pastor Russell’s teachings remain a guiding influence among us. Each Bible Student Group elects their own elders and deacons, just as was the practice in the early church and in the early Truth movement in Pastor Russell’s day. We hold no ill will to the Society or the brethren who make it up. have you reached India? I am a Jehovahs witnesses baptised in 1989. I am of 39 years old. It is true that “the spirit of love” becoming “spirit of fear” in the beloved organisation. It is strange. and I could not digest these so many changes.

Such Statements of my questions seems that you have no any realistic view about issues which are well known as not true. The “cross” symbol is not more than a pagan symbol for the Christianity, Jesus never mention to use this on towers or on your neck. “Christmas” time ….the same, fully “mickey Mouse” and a blame against Jesus Christ who never mention to celebrate his born . The history of this great corruption of “Christmas” was in Charles Taze Russel even known but he could not make the step to cut it off in once(what he should do). The same is with Israel …you should bring facts and not some “church emotional” views about “Israel” which is and never shall be more a Nation of Jehovah God on earth. Jesus told that and not Russel. Russel did a lot of good things in his time, but show many lacks to and not true views, so what is not true you can not defend. Religion which tells lies can not be true !!

I have a JW background and I was indoctrinated for many years with the things you mentioned and believed them all without question until recently ,now concerning first of all the cross…..if Jesus was nailed to an upright pole; it has been proven that a man will suffocate within an hour in that posititon,yet the JW’s say he was on it for HOURS!It has been proven it’s possible for a man to last for HOURS on a cross-like scructure in that position though.Also when the average person see’s a cross who do you think they think of; Jesus and christians or the false God Tammuz?

To find reasons for people to avoid facts and tried to defend matters like the “cross” which never was mention even to use for Christians as Symbol, neither to Churches on the tower. Jesus Christ was not hanging on any cross when there was no any cross to show. The same we see that 99% of the Christianity Churches want to see some “trinity” god…..and celebrate the Born of Jesus Christ in December fully with lies and corruptions against Jesus Christ again. Charles Taze Russel was a very brave man in his time but have not the fully understanding of Bible. His willing was fantastic and many hypocrite issues of that day Churches he attack. But the time was not there to kick out that pagan symbol of the Christianity The Cross and other issues which never came from The Lord. God has a Name and that is JEHOVAH. The “Church” explanation that it must be the Cross is not found in the Bible again.Even the LOGO of Cross&Crown from Charles Taze Russel was some idea of him the same with the Pyramid of Egypt and some other issues which is not based on the Teaching of Jesus Christ. Acts 5 : 30 ” Hanging on a Stake or tree” “Staurus or xulon” has nothing to do with the Cross.The Appendix of the Study Bible of the New World Bible 5C is more than professional. No other Religion want to hear such….the “cross” we see never back in the New World and the Churches with it.

The “Bible Students” are a group of people(my opinion) who are hanging on the ideas of Charles Taze Russel. For me it seems that there is no any reasonable logical development from your side. When Russel lived today he never was a member of the Bible Students when he has more Insight information about “Cross” and other issues. Should he again celebrate “Christmas” today and build a pyramid for himself ? For sure not.
The “Cross” is one of the most horror torture symbols of “dead” , so from God it not came. The JW Organization see such things clear , the rest tried to avoid with the mean reason nothing to be agreed with the “facts” which the JW Organization show. Willibrordus on the matter of the cross, birthdays etc, the JW org uses smoke screens to put these things up in the spotlight to make JW different. However the average witness will not check the biblical doctrine as these works makes them feel special and they are the only ones really being obedient. Open your eyes and really look as I did after 61years of adject slavery to the rules and regulations of a high control corporation and it is nothing but smoke. Focus on Jesus and what he would do would have been better. A personal relationship with God was never possible as it would conflict with the personal relationship one HAD TO HAVE with the rules and worship of the governingbody. You speak of the churches with their lies, corruption and hypocrites. The UN association in bed with the governments, the child molestations covered up by the JW org and the do as we say not as we do with stock in military business and many more hypocritical acts committed by the JW hierarchy. Many say the witnesses are not the only religion doing this and I agree wholeheartedly they are right there with the rest of Babylon. Yet God Jehovah, in his Grace, sent his son to die for them and us all. People in glass houses can’t throw stones. We are all sinners and if that was what Jehovah looked at we would all be lost. A spirit of peace is what those leaving the org want. Yet they attempt to disrupt their lives by DF, diasassociating so that families fall apart. I thank God mine seems to be recovering and seeing this beast for what it is a manmade greedy corporation masquerading as religion.

Why all taught from Charles Taze Russel should be defend when some of them was not true. Like the use of the “cross” , celebration of “Christmas” and today Israel country have nothing to do with Jehovah’s plan’s.

There is no scripture prohibiting the celebration of the birth of our Lord. If fact his own father did, he even had angels singing in the heights. So great was the birthday that the scientist of that day was looking for it. They saw his star and it lead them to him and God guided them back another way. After his star stood where he resided, they gave gifts of great value. This no doubt was in the plan of God to help them make it in Egypt as they fled. The two instances that the JW mentions are not talking about birthday celebrations it is talking about the death and manner of John dying before Jesus and Jesus latter made mention of no greater than John but a lesser one in the kingdom. The other was about Joseph and how Israel finally got to Egypt with Joseph as lead man. It is not about Birthdays. Br. Rutherford wanted to control people so he chose things that the masses have it common and put prohibitions on it for “CONTROL”. Notice now, the average conversation with a witness it will contain a lot of control features.

So you will recieve NOTHING from Jehovah except tribulation and rejection of him and his people.

I am fully convinced that the Great Pyramid reveals such an outstanding Truth message to us. Everything in its study shows that in deed the Lord had planned a ‘better thing’ for all those who love him- ie. His entire creation. Jehovah represented the Truth to us in so many ways. When pronouncing the condemnation on our first parents it was represented in a type that seed of the woman will crush the head of the serpent. The Truth has also been represented in table forms, book forms and so many other ways. The Great Pyramid is in deed ‘Bible in Stone’. It perfectly reveals the plan of God for the salvation of mankind in such a wonderful way.

I believe the our Father in Heaven appreciates and approves your efforts too. I just wanted to share some words of comfort with you. After Jesus fed the 5000 people with bread and fishes he later had so so many followers. However, after he revealed the True message to them concerning his mission that ‘Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood you have no life in you’ several of them turned away leaving the few faithful disciples. The faithful ones left on this side of the veil are very very insignificant in number. So keep on in the faith and be strong, and by the Lord’s help you will be able to overcome all these trials coming up your way and eventually become one of the saints up high according to the Lord’s will.

Hi Sven, this is Jacqueline, I am not familiar with the pyramid. I heard of it when I was a witness but have never embraced it. Other brothers might like to comment also. I do also realize the 19th century was an age of experimentation and knowledge was exploding. Many things that we now know more about was not known then.Among the BS we allow for difference of opinion.My axion is always: “Is it a salvation issue”? If it is I will explore, if not I read and go on. I also would like to add that there are other later Authors that find it amazing and fascinating as to how these measurements are in the Bible. One such book that speaks of the 3 pyramids and the great one is on the internet. I have not read much on this subject but I am impressed non the less. Most people would think that anyone who would think there is something Bible related to they pyramid must be crazy. But it is sort of like the Christian that asks the JW at their door, “Do you believe in the Trinity?” Once the Christian hears the JW does not accept the Trinity, they conclude the JW is crazy and part of a cult, without ever considering the evidence. In the 1800s there was an exploding interest in science. Many Christians were considering whether Isaiah19:19-20 had anything to do with the Great Pyramid. Isaiah19:19-20: “In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD [Jehovah] in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD. And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD [Jehovah] of hosts in the land of Egypt…” Although many people find this topic exciting and faith strengthening, it is merely a confirmation of what is already taught in the Bible. No new concepts come out of it other than an amazement that Jehovah complete plan for man was laid out in this marvelous structure even before Moses had received the Law Covenant. It confirms that God is not simply reacting to events as they occur to try to fix problems, but rather knows the end from the beginning and that everything is moving forward according to his plan and time table. Dear brother/sister ,the truth is that some people are unhappy when they see how NCBSC is growing rapidly.
At present time it counts 9 people baptised in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ(Acts 2:38),7 brothers and 2 sisters after 6 people were baptised on 17th April 2011.And these ones took on the emblems. The weekly attendance is between 25 and 35 at the Sanday service.Also on Saturday we have Bible discussion whereby we discuss on different topics such as Trinity,God,Jesus Christ,Holy Spirit,the Kingdom of God,the New Covenant,Baptism into Jesus Christ etc so as to assist people to grow spiritually very rapidly.
Thanks to this strategy other people also sollicit to be baptized very soon.Which blessings from our Lord!!!
Also let me give you our Programme of Sunday:
We start at 10:00 AM with an Opening Prayer
after we sing some songs or Chorus,then we proceed with Weekly Bible reading whereby 2 Chapiters have to be read and discussed one from OTand other from NT.
After that we sing songs of praise with a prayer and we listen to a word of God from the preacher who lectures for 45min and we finish with some announcements at 12:00.
No tithes or collection of money during the service but we welcome freewill donations so as to assist people in need or other things.
Unfortunatly this spirit of donating willingly is not developed into people here in the Camp and also people are poor.
I do thank some groups of Bible students who support us spiritually with books and I hope that they hear that if we are assisted physically or financially we may gain many people to the Lord into His Kingdom which is at hand(James 1:27,Prov.17:17,Romans 15:25-26.
We need a CD of Bible students’Hymns because It is very costy to download them.
