The Testimony meeting is meant for sharing experiences and healing.  We know a lot who have been associated with the Jehovah’s Witnesses Organization are angry about their experiences.  The purpose of this meeting is not to attack the organization, but rather it is a public support group to help encourage those who have had hard experiences and to provide positive emotional and scriptural encouragement for enduring, progressing and growing in the Christian walk.  Your testimony meeting leader will help you feel comfortable and encouraged.

Call in 1/2 hour early for mic check and if you would like a meet and greet.

There will be two Testimony meetings each Friday and Saturday, both at different times for your convenience.

North America Call in Times: SATURDAY – 7:00 pm Central, 8:00 pm East Coast, 5:00 pm West Coast, 11:00 am Melbourne Australia time.

Australia Call in Times:   SATURDAY – 7:30 pm Melbourne Australia time.  SATURDAY MORNING –  2:30 am Central, 3:30 am East Coast, 12:30 am West Coast

For best results, you need a microphone and preferably a headset.

All you need to do is click on the link and sign in on the right side of the screen. You can enter your name or a pen name. (You DO NOT need to sign in with a username and password.)

I just wanted to reach out to anyone who might be a bit reluctant about joining the Testimony meetings.

About 15 years ago, I was invited to attend a group for persons suffering from OCD and depression. I can vividly recall being so terrified that I simply couldn’t bring myself to attend. And at that particular time, I wasn’t even the least bit worried about any kind of fallout from the JW organization. So I really do understand and appreciate how nervous a person can feel about joining any kind of “group”. Even just thinking about the idea can leave you shaking in your boots, or fighting panic attacks, etc. It can seem so overwhelming, so daunting, so impossible.

And that’s why I’m writing today. For anyone who is experiencing that kind of trepidation, I get it. I can’t promise to make that fear go away. But as a meeting facilitator, I can promise to try to demonstrate caring and sensitivity and gentleness and understanding.

If it helps to know, we have been numbering about 8 or 9 persons each week, although it’s not always a big crowd. Sometimes, we have only 3 or 4 persons on, and those nights can be especially comfortable, cosy, and refreshing. Anyone that is even interested in checking out “how deep the water is before diving in”, can dip their toes in, so to speak, by joining in listen-only mode. You won’t be required to speak, or to divulge personal details. And you can simply leave anytime you need to retreat to safety.

So if anyone is anxious, or reluctant, but is able to can muster up the courage to try joining us, I’m confident you’ll be pleasantly relieved to find yourself understood and welcome among other nervous, sensitive, caring, kind, and compassionate persons.

And remember, if you prefer, or if you have questions, or if you have other specific concerns, you can always use the contact button at the top right of this page to reach out and speak to one of us.

Being a “part” of the JW organization can be very painful and very lonely. Even daring to think about leaving it can be infinitely more frightening and painful. We’ve all had experiences with that pain and fear and loneliness. And so we’re eager to try to help make your struggle and journey a little less painful, and a lot less lonely.

    Warmly, compassionately, caringly,
    -greg

      Greg,
Hey brother. I tried callin in but didnt get home till late tonight. We were doin our family shopping trip and at 9ish no one was on when I returned home. How was it tonight? I missed 2 weeks in a row now and am kinda sad. Its my favorite study.😞

I had an uplifting time. We were able to discuss taking advantage of being freedom and not being afraid to think or have another thought like Paul said if you be of another thought that God will reveal it. So we don’t get entrapped ever again like in the witnesses. Also how our Wednesday night study allows for our unique circumstance of being able to express our thoughts because all of us appreciate that freedom. Just a few points I enjoyed. How is the baby?

My son is doing very well. Couple days ago had tubes put in his ears and since, has slept through every night and is much happier with the pain and discomfort being alleviated.

      • greg (Bible Student)

        Hey Brandon,

Aw, I’m sad we missed you, too. We must have just missed each other by moments. If I’d known, I would have happily stuck around longer. 🙂

I’d love to come on here but I’m in UK and I can never work out what time to come on. Is there a time for UK to join in please?

I haven’t seen the movie yet. Do you know Br. Dave and his wife Sr. Joanna? I believe they are from Chicago. I met them a few weeks ago in a convention here in the Philippines. Please send my regards to them and the rest of the brethren. Thanks and God bless.

    • Jacqueline (Bible Student)

Noel I know Joanna and Dave. I will be in Chicago tomorrow with Joanna’s mom, sister Marge. They are from Portland, Oregon I believe. We have a 4th Sunday meeting every month during the winter months. There will be a gathering for young people next week. I really like the fact there are special things for kids and they don’t have to sit thru our adult subjects like at the kingdom halls.
Little 3 and 10 years thru young adults were groomed to be sexually abused because they are desensitized by hearing the adult language so it is easy to be victimized.I know they were aware that this would happen. So glad thinking men in other religions realize the need for Children’s classes.

I mean 4:14 pm, Philippines time

Good evening. It’s 4:14 pm, Philippines home right now. I haven’t been able to attend the Saturday testimony meeting this past 3 weeks, because I attended the 3 days bible seminar in Cebu with Br.Ray and Sr. Sue, and Br. Dave and Sr. Joanna. And the following weekends I needed to see my daughter. Right now I’m waiting for the meeting to start. It says ” the meeting currently is ?”. I don’t know why the question mark appears. God bless to everyone

Noel, I hope you were able to get on last night. Jeff was trying to get on also. I will email Br. Tazzyman to let him know to come here to answer your questions.
Maybe someone will help uou find that movie. I might look at it myself. Lol

      • Noel

Good morning. Yes, I attended last night’s (Saturday) meeting with Brs. Richard and Jeff. It was an interesting meeting. Br. Richard shared anout Judge Rutherford communicating to Adolf Hitler about the Jews. He also talked a little about the dark ages.

        • Jacqueline (Bible Student)

Noel thanks for the report. Ours is tonight at 7pm and we have had some new brothers and sisters on with interesting stories. I love this meeting. Also I go over to sixscreens to see what they are doing 2 hours before our meeting. Tomorrow we have a 4th Sunday convention in Chicago and I will drive in for that, we have lots of visitors from close by classes. It is nice. Did you find the movie?

We are having a very uplifting conversation on testimony meeting tonight. We have 2 new ones. Their father was an anointed brother within the witnesses before his passing and we are talking about a lot of things. Join us.

  • Jacqueline (Bible Student)

I almost forgot about testimony meeting tonight but we are on now. Now it is over after 3 hours and it was enjoyable.

We are on testimony meeting now and an ex-officer of the court and police booking agent told an experience.
When you are booked into jail one of the questions is religion of choice and there are a list of them for you to just check the box. Jehovah Witness religion was not on the sheet. The elder being arrested at the time had to write in Jehovah witness. (The elder was too intoxicated almost to write) so:
The supervisor stated they would have to add the Jehovah witness religion as one of the boxes to have to check because they were constantly getting witnesses at the jail, the religion has to have a check box on the booking sheet now.
The governing body says only witnesses are correct today just belonging to the organization gets you saved thru armageddon.
We are all captives on this spaceship earth in need of redemption and help. Witnesses can no longer boost.
