    “The End Of An Age”

This is the understanding I have gained after doing some research.
At Matthew 24:36 Christ tells us, “However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.” Here Jesus is referring to the end of the “aion” (this is a Greek word meaning “age” or “period” of time) instead of the “world” as most believe but this has mistranslated/misinterpreted.
In Greek the noun “aion” literally means an “age” or an indeterminate period of time.”
1Corinthians 2:7 tells us, “No, the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God-his plan that was previously hidden, even though he made it for our ultimate glory before the world began.” so the Apostle Paul tells us that there was clearly a state of existence before time began/before the world began/before the ages and also that the ages will come to an end as stated at 1Corinthians 10:11, “These things happened to them as examples for us. They were written down to warn us who live at the end of the age.”
So the conclusion is that it is clear that if something begins and ends then it obviously cannot be unending.
God Almighty has an appointed time when He will take back what is His & make things right, this appointed time that He has chosen will not delay nor will it be late!

Hi Daz, that was a point I tried to explain when a witness and was shot down. Not the end of the world but the Christian age would come to an and. Matt 24:14 referred to the end of the the good news of the kingdom being preached, would end, not the end of the world exactly when that happens. Because they could keep stretching it out. The time appointed by Jehovah is set because he is not judging mankind in general now but in the mediatorial phrase of the Ransom. They make God’s ability to began the new age dependent on whether or not we preached hard enough door to door, and it killed my mother, doing the door to door as a pioneer in 100 degree whether at 77 and had a heart attack and in congestive heart failure. The CO said you might as well die in the service of God. Many pregnant women with swollen ankles and some that should spend time taking care of their children and family work, pioneer and take care of house, lots of divorces. But they think they have to preach to everyone so armageddon can come and they have helped save as many as possible.
Jehovah witnesses don’t believe that Jesus Ransom is saving not just the dead but all living when armageddon the establishing of the kingdom of Christ starts to rule, both them and their neighbors will survive armageddon.

Hi Jacqueline, I hope you have been keeping well. Yes indeed, that’s what I saw too, it was all about the doors & getting in as many hours as possible even though it people may not have been at home it didn’t matter, also posting or leaving as much literature as possible. People should be encouraged to reaad the Bible first above all else not the society’s literature so as not to develop a bias belief or understanding of God’s word & Christ’s teachings.
I always had an issue with regards to the field service as I knew there were ones that just could not do half as much as others could & this must have made them feel low & unworthy, it did me! Then I started to realize it wasn’t just about field servie hours at all & there are many scriptures to prove this. Yes we have a duty to share God’s word, to preach to others but we are to share it the best way WE can, not the best way an organization says. What we have learned, also our faith & love for Jehovah God & His Son Christ Jesus is personal to us as individuals, we should share this on a personal basis which in my opinion shows true love & truly glorifies the Father & the Son on a much deeper level because it comes from the heart & not some rehearsed literature! We must ALWAYS refer to the scriptures at all times.
Here are some great scriptures to ponder on.

        Luke 18:9-14
And He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt: “Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. “The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. ‘I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.’ “But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’ “I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

        Titus 3:4-5
But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

        Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

        Romans 9:16
So then it does not depend on the man who wills or the man who runs, but on God who has mercy.

        Romans 11:6
But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace.

        Acts 13:39
and through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things, from which you could not be freed through the Law of Moses.

        Romans 3:20-30
because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin. But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Where then is boasting? It is excluded By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith. For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law. Or is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, since indeed God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith is one.

        Romans 4:1-7
What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, has found? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? “ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS CREDITED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.” Now to the one who works, his wage is not credited as a favor, but as what is due. But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness, just as David also speaks of the blessing on the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: “BLESSED ARE THOSE WHOSE LAWLESS DEEDS HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN, AND WHOSE SINS HAVE BEEN COVERED.

        1 Corinthians 13:1-3
If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.

        Galatians 2:16
nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified.

        2 Timothy 1:9
who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity.

        Warm & loving regards,
        Daz

      • It boils down to fear of man masquerading as a fear of God by “God’s requirements” leading to a COERCION.

        1. Fear of God is the WILLINGLY AND JOYFUL continuation of what Jesus started with plenty of apostle examples. It is inspired by a personal desire to be motivated by the holy spirit each in his own way, for not all were Paul when activated as far as prolific extent.

        2. MEN cannot FORCE a person to serve God. But that is what JWs have turned it into.

We just have to be motivated by our own heart, which only comes the MORE AND MORE we believe it is the truth and is a positive open salvation message first, removal of world government, last.

We need to do it because we want to do it. If not, God knows it is a coercion, but as Paul stated in either case the good news spreads.

Now THE WORST thing one can be is not believe the “GB bad news” message, and yet STILL have to trudge the forced, whipped, beaten and burdened ministry while your own family is HELD HOSTAGE so you can show up for your row spot as the Beth Hell Galley Slave it is, day after day after day.

THAT IS CALLED EXTORTION, CHRIST HAS NOT ONE THING TO DO WITH EXTORTERS!!!

So, have mercy on JWs, they are slaves of men and are kidnapped from God, but God is going to crush the GB and that whole JW org right in front of our very eyes as Daniel 8:13-14.
