How Long Have You Been Waiting on Jehovah to Fix HIs Organization?

crying2Good it is that one should wait, even silently, for the salvation of Jehovah” (Lamentations 3:26; Titus 2:13)

Translation – “Wait on the JW Organization Leadership to make the necessary changes. Don’t initiate any improvements yourself or you may find yourself in trouble.”

Have you been waiting on Jehovah for years to fix His Organization?  How is that working for you?

Does “waiting on Jehovah” mean we live our lives in such a way that we help neither ourselves nor anyone else because we are waiting for God to correct problems. Does the Governing Body operates according to the principle–“Let’s just wait on Jehovah?” Of course not.  They take action according to their judgment.

When people say they are “waiting on Jehovah,” what is it exactly that they are waiting for? Are they waiting on the Governing Body, rather than waiting on Jehovah? This is understandable, since they have been taught that they are basically the same thing. Is it wise to wait for God to speak to the Governing Body? How is it that he will speak to them? The Governing Body admits no inspiration, so even they acknowledge that Jehovah will not give them a special revelation.  If new light makes old light error, has Jehovah lied to the Governing body in the past?  Of course not.

Have you been waiting on Jehovah …

* for the Elders to be more compassionate, understanding and supportive?

*  to finally understand a teaching that doesn’t make any sense to you?

* for all the brothers in the congregation to compete in fulfilling Romans 12:10 (NWT) “In brotherly love have tender affection for one another.  In showing honor to one another take the lead?”

* to correct an injustice you, just an ordinary publisher, have suffered in the congregation?

* for the leaders to be less concerned about maintaining and exercising control and more concerned about your spiritual and emotional well being?

* to hear Jesus name mentioned more often than the Governing Body?

* over your concern that some child might be harmed by a child molesters in the hall?

*  for good brothers and sisters with great ideas to be told YES, rather than being put in their place?

Do your leaders heed Jesus’ warnings?

Matthew 23:1-12 (NCV) “Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his followers, 2 “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees have the authority to tell you what the law of Moses says. 3 … but their lives are not good examples for you to follow. They tell you to do things, but they themselves don’t do them. 4 They make strict rules and try to force people to obey them, but they are unwilling to help those who struggle under the weight of their rules.

5 “They do good things so that other people will see them.  7 They love people to greet them with respect in the marketplaces [Kingdom Hall and Conventions], and they love to have people call them ‘Teacher.’ [Elder or Overseer]

10 And you should not be called ‘Master,’ [Governing Body] because you have only one Master, the Christ. 11 Whoever is your servant is the greatest among you. 12 Whoever makes himself great will be made humble. Whoever makes himself humble will be made great.”

Do you see love in your Kingdom Hall?

1 Corinthian 13:4-8 (Amplified) “4 ¶ Love endures long {and } is patient and kind; love never is envious {nor } boils over with jealousy, is not boastful {or } vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.  5 It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) {and } does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights {or } its own way, {for } it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy {or } fretful {or } resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it it pays no attention to a suffered wrong.  6 It does not rejoice at injustice {and } unrighteousness, but rejoices when right {and } truth prevail.  7 Love bears up under anything {and } everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything without weakening.
8 ¶ Love never fails never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end…”

Do the Brothers and Sisters avoid slander and evil speaking?

Ephesians 4:31 (NKJV) “ Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.”

James 4:11-12 – Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. … who are you to judge your neighbor? NIV

Ps 15:1-3 – LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary?  Who may live on your holy hill?  …  He whose …has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman, – NIV

Prov 17:9 – He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates friends. – NKJV

1 Cor 13:4-7 – “Love … keeps no record of wrongs. It always protects, always trusts, …“  NIV

Prov 6:16-19 – These six things the LORD hates…one who sows discord among brethren. – NKJV

Prov 17:9  He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates friends. NKJV

Prov 16:28  A perverse man stirs up dissension, and a gossip separates close friends.  NIV

Eph 4:30-32 – Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.  NKJV

Rom 15:1- We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. NIV

Gal 6:1 – Even if any one should be overtaken in a fault, brothers, you that are spiritual ought, in a gentle spirit, to restore such a one, each one of you looking to himself, lest you too be tempted. – Montgomery’s New Testament

Matt 18:15-17 (NKJV)  “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone.  If he hears you, you have gained your brother.  16 But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’   17 And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.”

IS THERE AN ALTERNATIVE?

Are you discouraged and frustrated that you are not able to worship Jehvovah in joy, peace and Christian liberty.  What can you do?  You don’t want to go back to the denominatoinal Churches and embrase Hell, Trinity and Immortality of the Soul do you?  Is there an alternative?

Perhaps there is a way for you to get more Biblical and spiritual supplort and encouragement.  We have a suggestion for you:

1)  Go to www.FreeConferenceCalling.com and set up a free telephone conference call in number.

2)  Select a book or booklet (could be electronic or you can order a copy) from a traditional Bible Student Website like below:
Chicago Bible Students Bookstore       We recommend God’s Grand Plan of the Ages
Bible Today Books & Videos
Harvest Truth Database
Most Holy Faith

3)  Email us at BibleStudents1@Gmail.com the day, time, phone #, password code and Bible Student material you are studying and we will advertise it on our webstie for you.  We are setting up a page to advertise these studies in the next few weeks.  Remeber that everyone calling in should be anomomous, hence there will be not fear of being caught or turned in.  Over time, groups of anonymous and independent students can set up and grow these studies worldwide.

    Greetings everyone.

Sometimes we find ourselves in a situation that creates a sort of paralysis within us. We see a danger, but instead of taking action to get ourselves to safety, we freeze like a deer in the headlights. We wrestle inside against internally perceived dangers rather than responding to the very real external threats.

The article at the top of this page reminded me of a short video (about 9 minutes long) that I came across several years ago. It’s entitled “Dangerous Conformity”.

Back when I first saw it, it helped me understand why it is sometimes so hard for persons (myself included) to leave Watchtower–even when staying “in” is arguably the more dangerous option.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjP22DpYYh8

This video really helped me in my resolve to imitate the three Hebrews who refused to conform due to group pressures, and who refused to bow down in worship to any man-made image. (Daniel 3) I hope this video helps inspire others to find the courage to stand up and to act in harmony with BOTH their OWN God-given, built-in values, and their own personal, Scripturally-acquired Knowledge, rather than helplessly waiting for others to (hopefully, eventually) take charge and do something.

I also hope and pray that by posting this message, others who are perhaps stuck, or frozen, or cautiously teetering on the edge of leaving the JW organization due to the dangerous things they are seeing–I hope and pray you will realize you really are not the only one perceiving danger, but that others, perhaps unknown to you, but just like you, have already grabbed their belongings (their dependent family members, and maybe a small handful of only the most basic necessities) and quickly seized the opportunity to flee to safety. (compare Matthew 24:15-16)

    Warmly and compassionately,
    -greg

A good questin to ponder is “What constituttes ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOR?

When Jehovah God told Abram to leave his home he knew Abram had a social structure that prohibited violation of a virgin. see site below We know the rest of the story and the fact that this divinely mandated prohibition was incorporated in the Law of Moses to keep his people CLEAN and that punishment was required at Deut.22:26 on the basis of one witness….the offended one. This Code_of_Ur-Nammu was in operation 2016-2060 B.C.E. a good 500 years before Moses. It has always been ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOR

  • Who says that the Watch Tower is God’s organization? I challenge this notion and teaching as it gets in the way of us and God and our Head, Christ Jesus.

Inserting “an organization” in between mankind and Christ disrupts the “headship” principle at 1 Cor 11:3.

Jesus never spoke of an organization, he spoke of himself being our Lord and Teacher. An organization has made itself Head. An organization has usurped the role of Christ.

At John 14:6, Jesus says that he is “… the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Yet, the Watch Tower organization says that it is “the truth.” The Watch Tower organization claims it is “the way” (to God). That no one can be a worshiper of God unless they are within the organization. The Watch Tower organization claims that is is “the life” as no one can attain everlasting life unless one is membered with the organization. The baptismal vow states such.

This is very concerning because Christ, mankind’s only head has been effectively moved out of the picture. Even his teachings have been subtly modified or ignored to make way for “Watch Tower” teachings.

Teachings of Christ have been subtly been replaced with “Bible Teachings.” The Bible is not our Teacher, Christ is.

The Bible has been elevated to “Word of God.” Whereas, The Most High God sent His Son and commanded that we listen to him. Christ, not a book is The Word of God. (Luke 9:35)

Even the official Watch Tower website has a link on the top of its home page that reads, “Bible Teachings.” Why is this not “Christs Teachings.”

Open your eyes people, know who your Head, Teacher and Lord is. Know who is the ONLY Word of God. They are not organizations or a book.

God did not send us a book, He sent us His Son. Men sent us a book and these men are the ones who told us that it is holy, authorized and the Word of God.

Jerome hello, it seems the info you are writing is for witnesses and would be best on sites where they will see it. We are not witnesses. Also I know you feel strongly that you are a prophet but to express your views against the Bible so strongly should be applied personally to get the best benefit. Probably all on this site know the Father has not sanctioned organizations. Witnesses (an some xjw) sometimes can’t just accept this and get on with their lives. Everyone is aware the governing body set themselves up and it is a con.
I think sometimes you are preaching to the choir. Take Care

      • By title, you may not be “Jehovah’s Witnesses.” But in substance, teaching and practice, you resemble the organization in a great many aspects. As your website “About” page states: “We are your brothers and sisters, the children of the original Watchtower Bible and Tract Society …”

Both organizations are from the same tree. Both have an agenda to control the thinking of individuals while claiming they they have been freed. One will be dealt with if they question, challenge or investigate the teachings of both organizations.

Your beliefs are nearly identical to the WTBTS of JWs according to your “We-Believe” page.

You call yourselves “Bible Students.” Well, so do JWs. You call God by the name of Jehovah. Well, so do JWs. I could go on and on.

What makes both the Associated Bible Students and Jehovah’s Witnesses is the subtle snubbing of Christ as The Word of God. Both of you promote the Bible as The Word of God and of the Bible you say that it is “the primary source of all Truth.” This is blasphemous. Christ – the person (remember him) said of himself at John 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

The Most High God – through his Son – Christ Jesus is the ONLY and PRIMARY source of truth. That is why The Most High God commanded that we listen to His son at Luke 9:35. He did not send us a book, he sent us his son.

Even more curious about Associated Bible Students and Jehovah’s Witnesses is titling yourselves as “Bible Students” (Disciples of the Bible) rather than Students of Christ (Disciples of Christ).

Again, this shows that both organizations believe that the Bible is their Teacher. There is a Teacher and there is the Student.

You are well aware what Christ said concerning who is our ONLY Teacher. It is not a book or organizations, it is Christ himself. (Matthew 23:8-10). Yet, both organizations do not acknowledge Christ as their only Teacher and both organizations certainly have ignored God’s command at Luke 9:35.

My critique of Associated Bible Students and Jehovah’s Witnesses is for the benefit of those who have been strangled by religious organizations who claim to be of God and Christ. It is not enough to leave one organization only to jump into another. One has to closely examine – put to the test – what these organizations are teaching. And question, “Are the teachings, Christs teachings or the teachings of men who have arrogated themselves to take control of the household of the Master.”

My critique is directed at former JWs, former Associated Bible Students, JWs, Associated Bible Students and persons who have been tossed about by “Christianity” and made confused and do not know what to think or are made to be afraid to think.

I know that you do not want me in here on this forum. I know that there are individuals in here who have doubts and are sure about “organization.”

This I do know for a certainty: You and the WTBTS are leading people to follow the Bible as “The Word of God” and to make them Disciples of the Bible (Bible Students).

Discipleship (being a student and follower) is to Christ. Not a book or organizations. (John 8:31-32)

Jesus’ command to us at Matthew 28:19-20 was that we ourselves become his disciples and go make more disciples to him. Not a bringing individuals to us personally or into an organization or to a book; but to him and he teaches us. Since “he” is the truth, that is what we will receive from him.

Yet, the Associated Bible Students and WT of Jehovah’s Witnesses are promoting the Bible as Teacher and primary source of all truth. When there was no Bible, what or who was the source of all truth?

How then did it become so elevated and holy? How did it replace The Most High God as the primary source of all truth through his ONLY authorized spokesman, Jesus Christ (who is the truth)?

I fear many have not thought about this and both organizations do not want them to think about it and formulate questions.

The bottom line is one follows Christ as The Word of God and “the truth” or the follow something else claiming itself to be such.

One cannot have two Masters: A book and Christ. Both cannot be The Word of God.

I am not a Prophet and I reject any title like that. I have no ego to massage like organizations who feel that anytime someone criticizes them, someone is taking something from them.

My source of information is not from religious organizations, it is from The Most High God through His Son. I know who my Master is and it is truly liberating. Christ Jesus. He teaches me and he has taught me to recognize what is not from him. He has also taught me to have the same loving attitude towards all because “they do not know” what they are doing.

I would never condemn anyone because they do not believe in Christ or believe him incorrectly. My Master taught me that. He taught me never condemn anyone because he never did.

But you organizations are quick to condemn persons if they do not join you or agree with you.

Yet, my Master spoke of you and you have not listened. He said that the wicked are not just those who chose lives of criminality and vice, but primarily those who claim that they know him and are certain of it.

Of them he teaches: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’”

Christendom, the Associated of Bible Students, and the Watch Tower organization of JWs have not come to know who their Master is. Their Master is a book and their organizations.

I do not apologize for what I am doing. I will continue doing it. If I am wrong, God will silence me and I will sincerely apologize for it. But if what I am doing is in alignment with what my Master has been teaching me, there is nothing anyone can do to stop it. (Remember what Nicodemous said at Acts 5:38-39).

Note: A Pharisee is quoted in “The Bible.” Satan is quoted in the Bible many times. Yet, the Bible is “The Word of God?”

I agree with what the Associated Bible Students believe that there is no trinity, no hell fire, there is only one God, that Jesus was created. But this is NOT because its not in the Bible, it is because Christ my Teacher and Master says so.

As for Christ being reigning King in heaven, 144,000 anointed, The Wild Beast and its Image, The False Prophet, Babylon the Great, The Great Crowd, The Kings of the Earth and the things spoken in “The Revelation by Jesus Christ that God Gave him” has not arrived yet. All of these things are well in the future. We are no were near the “Last Days.”

And, if I do not speak and tell others about this truth, they will continue to be carried away by the current teachings that these things are in existence at present and be caught unaware about what comes upon all of mankind in the coming years: Not mankind’s “destruction” but its death.

I am probably the most sober person one will meet. I have no hidden agenda. I am obligated to speak the truth so others will have the information to digest and conclude matters for themselves. But they must be allowed to consider and think.

The WTBTS and Associated Bible Students belief about Christ existing as our King, the existence of a 144,000 or remnant, a Great Crowd, etc is off base. You are in the wrong time period. If you look below your feet, you see the foundation of those teachings have weakened and will cave it.

Pray incessantly to the Most High God for his enlightenment in this matter and expect the answer to come from his Son via Holy Spirit and not a book or an organization.

Enlightenment can only come through Christ. There is no other channel The Most High God has authorized.

        I am not your enemy.

          Jerome;

Gods word is just that, his word….

Gods spoken word is his very thoughts and expressions that have been recorded for us in these 66 little books… You only know about Jesus messiah because it was recorded in some of those books or foretold of him…

“The LORD’s ‘word’ refers to the decrees whereby He governs His dominion.”
Thus “the word” reflects the heart of God’s thinking, His concern.

Isa 55:11 so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

2Ti 3:16 Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness.
17 That the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.

Perhaps Im wasting my time responding to you, see how you ramble on….

Jerome I must admit I have not read all of your comment as I have a house full of grandchildren and family during this holiday season. I will read it in the next week however. But I am not a part of any organization (that’s why I say you mean to talk to the witness website) and I question things that I don’t see, if another brother see it differently I respect that. I no longer try to explain what I see within the Bible students, for instance that they can and will give what they see and still be a part of the brotherhood. Have I seen where some encourage you to watch listening intently to someone with a different view? Yes I have and I ignore them and listen to the different viewpoints. If it comes to the point where I can’t question or disagree with anyone then I will do as I am doing now, stick with the Bible and ask for God and Jesus to help me stay in their grace. Cause if knowing exactly what the Bible is saying is that important or a salvation issue, I think God would have made it plainer. I don’t worry about all this stuff. I have the right to talk straight to God in Jesus name. He opened that up for me. I am not in competition with anyone, I want all of us to make it in whatever position Jehovah and Jesus see us fit for. And by all I mean all of mankind. I know some won’t but at least they will be finally given a fighting chance.
I did read your last sentence also. I don’t view you as an enemy but you seem angry all the time to me. Maybe if I was face to face instead of the printed word, I might not see this. But at some point we have to exhale forget that junk written by that organization and move forward with learning. Not always picking a fight and angry that we were fools to follow those men. We bear some responsibility after we got 21 so we need to suck it up and forget their crap. I am not letting those people live rent free in my head any longer. I don’t read anything ever written by them either. That is just how I see this intenseness and anger. Take Care

        • A anonymous

So we are to take your word on it but not what the Bible says? Jerome you don’t have anymore truth than the next person. Yes the Bible has the primary source of ALL truth. Because it it’s from god for us. To just say “Jesus is the Primary Source
Of all truth” and not the Bible is also incorrect. Because without the Bible which Jesus is correct? The Catholic? Mormon? Oneness/Modalistic Jesus? Well we have to go the Bible as well to see which in is correct do we not?

        • Your “beef” is really with ALL CHRISTIAN “RELIGIONS”, because the “FAITH of Jesus Christ” is what it is, religions tend to become a “middle man” “mediator” to Christ.

All organizations must be Rev2:2 put to the test, but since they are mundane organs they can never be found of any merit anyways, because they are “thing” that is not divine.

The “new covenant” is the only arrangement God has instituted.

But there is a difference between those putting into the collection plate and the ones who take it to the bank. If we keep in mind being a “mediator” can end up beign quite profitable, we see why RELIGIOUS LEADERS are who ALWAYS have fallen into “cave of robber” antics.

Being Adamic they all will devolve into the same sins. And apostate leaders are who always cause the main problem. And they are all over the place.

But since it always has been just God, Christ and the individual, you may consider a broader wwarnign context where in a person is not made to feel they are of the wrong religious tribal label, but to see it is a systemic problem in Christian “religions” and faith in religion is an idol, it is not the same as faith in God and Christ.

Then you can get more reception for people to also warn others of these same generic dangers with human mundane “organization”, because what you are saying has a lot of truth to it.

You just need to refine the manner of how you term it to get more willing ears, imo.

          • Jacqueline (Bible Student)

Temple Judgement you put it the way I was thinking. It is organizations that are at faught. Individuals are learning that and if they choose to associate with ones of like mind and students of the Bible, I don’t think they should be bashed because they associate with other brothers. Also to accuse one of being an organization instead of recognizing they are organized. No one wants chaos, our brains don’t function and nothing else in our universe functions under chaos. That is what I was trying to say to Jerome.
I agree a lot of what he says is true and should be written to the Warwick facility to address the people that need to hear it.
On a bicycle you have to keep moving forward or you will fall off and after so many years there should be some progress in our anger and bitterness I think so we can help others just waking up, not whipping them for finding people to associate with that believe in Christ.
Thanks for putting it in the proper words. Take Care

            • Yes, we still need to watch for Matthew 24:15 principle and tuned “discernment”. I say this because some religions end up being more than sheep, they want to be shepherds and hence, please read Zechariah 11.

They want people to think of them as Apostles, like the last real divine shepherds of 1st Century. (Read Rev2:2)

So, we have to be free to speak our mind among the sheep viewing ourselves as just a sheep. We don’t need “shepherd censors” of cover ups and deceptions. The first easy temptation is the abuse of the hierarchy of authority which can end up crystallizing into the “organization’s” corporate control center, because they do want to watch the “money box”.

All these things can be harmless, but in most cases they develop evil by love of money and power and so on. We don’t want to be like JWs and deny the lawlessness of the leaders, the Jews did that as well, look what it got them in 70 CE.

And it has an end goal, because once something devolves into God’s disapproval Satan becomes the real shepherd.

The goal is that related to the “disgusting thing” Matthew 24:15’s foregleam, to sell the sheep the post world war “world government” as if the wild beast “disgusting thing” is from God.

All these prophecies must have a final climax form of convergent fulfillment into world government that triggers Christ arrival, seen by all, plain as day, one step at a time.

I tell you this hoping to be a free speaking sheep within an organizational context that will end up doing this so that no sheep has to be fooled by “shepherds” to think God would use a human group of politicians, warlords and central bankers as part of his Kingdom under Christ.

No, the Kingdom of Christ is 100% NON-HUMAN, “not from this source” as Christ stated. Wait for the REAL THING, it is for God, under King Christ, perfect and of immortal power and all eternities, NOT some UN mud-man wannabee lie.

Thus, if we are in a flock associated with a larger global sheep “ecology” that can be influenced by “organizational” leaders, as per Zechariah 11 we MUST keep OUR OWN guard AT ALL TIMES, so that we do not get instead misled by compromised leaders into the wolves den.

There are already bad signs in JWs and other Christian leaderships leaning to the BTG wild beast collusion to help them sell 666 world government as if “Jehovah’s world government”. When you hear that, do not do it, stay under God and Christ.

Now at this time these here statements may just seem crazy. But, come world war “sword stroke” and its FAKE DOOMSDAY to resolve into that Revelation 13:3 foretold global “healing” (Isa41:1), these words will not seem that far fetched in case they do now.

It is just an advanced tip. For FUTURE PROOF, it ALL STARTS with the global attempted deposition of the JW org as Daniel 8:13-14 in the near future and its is going to get big attention.

That Daniel 8:14 takes a few years to run its Zech3:1-5 course, but when you see that, know the rest of the forecast of prophecy will also unfold but over enough time so many can be warned using the JW org downfall as the credible temple judgment benchmark. (Rev10:5-11 will eventually manifest and it will be God backed so it will go global to some degree for the important things it will be warning of.)

At this time or any time I cannot tell people what to think, I can suggest what to consider now and later though as a tip, as even Christ said “let the reader USE discernment” at Matthew 24:15.

Just concentrate on discernment, it is a great weapon against deception.

As with dulled JWs, we can see what happens when discernment and honesty are not used. We do not want to be attached to “religion” or “organization” as if divine but attached to Christ to God, period, who are divine.

As per Rev14:12 it is the “FAITH of Jesus Christ” we are in, REGARDLESS of the attempted religious fences they use to divide sheep to try to conquer us.

But things have to get more Rev8-11 serious in time, so we need to stay ready. And stay focused on the main goal of Christ to rule and recover this world. (Dan2:31-45; Ps2; Matt6:10; 1John2:2)

But as Elishah said “there are more with us than there are with them”. (1Kings6:15-17)

As we step forward, step by prophecy step, it will get very clear as we proceed over these last 15 years or so. World government and its 1Thess5:1-3 “world peace” is what triggers the Christ counter-sovereign arrival, NOT the world war that precedes it as per Matthew24:6, Luke21:9.

The final warning has a very simple premise and an open salvation fronting message of Rev14:6-8; It will manifest in time, fully, even before world government completion as this time it has to manifest beforehand, or of course, it would be too late.

What is the average life expectancy for lifetime JWs? Do many JWs live into their eighties? Does fear of shunning, disfellowship or dying in Armageddon have any significant impact on physical and mental health?.

  • Maggy A

Thanks for the love and prayers everyone. I know Jehovah will see me through. Mags

  • Wild Olive

@MaggyA,please what ever you do don’t comit yourself to the JW religion,by all means study what they present, question it thourghly and when scriptures are quoted or read make sure they actually say what their being applied to,not just assumptions.
A question that must be asked by you to your conducter is,how does the new covenant apply to me?If that can’t be answered satisfactorily or is vague then it should be a warning sign to you that Jesus Ransom is being denied you,if your happy with that idea then by all means become a JW.

  • Maggy A

I had just been studying with the Witnesses when I felt something was amiss, now I feel lost. The congregation I was studying with has completely written me off and I just want to find a place to worship in truth. It is so very sad that the organization has become what it has.

Maggy A, hello again, You must have asked too many questions or just thought things through. This would cause you to be labeled as unteachable and thus you won’t conform to the thoughts of the leaders that exact complete obedience. Last night I listened in by phone and heard a talk where it mentioned David (A son gave it.) 2Sam.15:21 here Ahithophel and Absalon conspired against David. He said this was like going against the governing body, God’s only channel today.
The audience commented many times on this being proof, no matter how bad the governing body is we should recognize them as God’s channel. I questioned the witness as to where does it say that there is an appointed governing body. David was indeed the King but it was a wrong act to violate his concubines rather than teaching a lesson on following someone that does wrong.
So I see the reasoning is off, everything last night was pointed in some way to the governing body or Jehovah but never Jesus at all. Something is so strange now as others are reporting on the internet it is the TV sessions that are causing sort of a hysteric reaction to the governing body, adoration.
You are welcome here and we have a Wednesday study on Wednesday night and there is a Bible Student elder but all of us are like you, wanting to know what the Bible itself really says. We are learning so much truth and can ask questions and give our original thoughts.
So you may join us and there you have support, we all know each other well although not living very near to each other.
If you would like to talk during the day I am available from 10 am to 3pm during the day CST. Leave your contact info on the contact tab or just call in on Wednesday. I wondered where you were and how you ere doing. In Christ, Jacqueline

This is where witnesses get the idea plus later thoughts.(” the ‘slave’ class … after 1919 … has served as God’s SOLE collective CHANNEL for the flow of Biblical truth to men on earth” W 1960 43912.)

This is to Maggie although I don’t know if she will ever see it.

I studied with the Witnesess for a long time and then I sort of stopped. I don’t remember exactly why I stopped, (I was young and had opposition from family) but I do remember having difficulty accepting a thing or two. I just wasn’t convinced. However, I say sort of, because a lot of the things they taught, that I did accept, never left me. It was there, as if engraved in my heart and mind. Bible principals that I knew without a doubt came from Jehovah’s word. For the first time in my life I knew there was only one way to live, and that life for me was more than just being a good person. I had to follow Jesus. It caused me to want to change, and even though I continued to have struggles, I chose to try and follow Jesus’ example on how to live. I tried, but apart from good association, I found it hard to stop myself from going back to some old habits not in line with Jesus’ teachings.

Through the years, even as I looked into many other religions, I always seemed to be back and forth with wanting to study again. Although I never really made another long term commitment to have any official studies or attend a KH regularly, I did, for a short time go to a new one. The lady that I met there, even after I stopped going, would occasionally still write letters encouraging me to keep praying, searching, and reading the scriptures. She would also send me the memorial invitations year after year. (I attended a few) Then just a little over 2 years ago something that held me back all those years ago, (I’m talking about from my first meeting with a JW) finally became crystal clear. Still, I struggled with myself because while I knew there was something to it, there was still a part of me that wasn’t ready to go back. I also knew how the religion was viewed by so many in the world and that bothered me. Not that I cared what they thought of me, because they are not more important than God and Jesus, but I worried that maybe I was making the wrong decision. Funny how the mind works sometimes. (Or maybe it’s satan attempt to stop it?) Anyway, I continued with prayer after prayers before I took the first step back. I didn’t even reach out to the one person who never forgot me. Instead I let someone else, from a different KH, study with me. When I decided to go to an actual KH meeting, I also told no one, not even the new person I was studying with. I just went back to the KH I used to associate with. I thought it would be nice to see the lady who had kept in touch with me, but she was not there on that day. There were many new faces, a few of them who offered to sit with me, and then there was this brother who I remembered from back in the day as being friendly. The welcome hug he gave me when he noticed I was there, almost brought me to tears. I couldn’t believe he remembered me at all. I continued going to the meetings but it wasn’t until maybe 2 months or so later that I actually knew I made the right decision. (It was also eventually arranged for me to start studying with the lady I had known, although I am still very close to the other sister) Then this:

Not long ago, (I believe early November of last year) upon innocently searching for something under the old writings, I found myself on this site. Wow, has it been a whirlwind since then. Reading the things that were written turned me upside down. There were a variety of genuine back and forth conversations, opinions, different beliefs, interesting dialogs, yet also misinterpretations, creative manipulative responses, distortions, fair and unfair accusations, sincere and combative debates, truths, lies, and yes of course, honest hearted postings from caring honest hearted individuals. There were stories and thoughts of all kinds and I honestly didn’t know where I would end up because I became so confused. Also, what I was hearing here about Jw’s was not what I knew of them. I started going on many other sites to see what was being said and then quickly realized I was digging a hole for myself. I had to stop! I had to take a step back and focus on what really mattered, which was to know the things God wanted me to know. I limited myself to this site, my studies with JW’s, and my own personal study of the bible, still in search of answers to my own personal questions. Everyone has to make a decision for themselves, but I wondered, where would it take me?

I always knew that prayer and faith was essential. That reading the bible and taking in knowledge of God and Jesus meant everlasting life. I thought all along that my faith in Jehovah’s word was strong. I thought that when I was praying for his help to lead me in the right direction, that I was actually putting my whole faith in him to direct me along the right path. I thought that what I was doing on an almost daily basis, were all the right things in order to get the answers I was searching, and trying to get confirmation for. Then in one of my deepest prayers, it clicked, that I have been holding back. I had not been putting 100% faith in what I was praying for. That all along I was asking for faith, but without realizing it, I was relying on myself. That revelation was less than 2 weeks ago. What I prayed for and wanted most was for him to allow me to allow him to write his word into my heart, and now I know true faith. Do I know where he will ultimately guide me? I am leaving that on him! Do I still have questions? Yes, absolutely! Will I make mistakes? Of course. Only now I know that I don’t need to search through tons of sites that are going to confuse me. Jehovah has turned me right side up and it is he that I will rely on to direct me. However, I can’t take the faith he has given me for granted. I need to continue to pray that I don’t slip back or forget that it is he who will show me the way. I can’t tell you how finally knowing and accepting this has made my faith stronger.

Here is what you need to know. Even with the right motivation you have to clear your mind and you have to believe wholeheartedly that through prayer you will get your answers. Complete trust comes when you give your whole heart to God. Yes, there are good people with good intentions but it is only Almighty God who can answer you with truth. Having complete faith in him is as essential as accepting his only begotten son Christ Jesus, who ransomed us from sin, as our Savior. Keep praying for Jehovah to answer your question, keep praying that he guide you onto the path of everlasting life, and most important do not hold back, but rely and believe that he will show you the way; that’s how important faith is. Everyone has the tools they need… we have a mediator who we can pray to God though, we have his word the bible, and we have free will to decide whether or not we want to serve him in the way he wants us to.
As for who we end up having a brotherly / sisterly spiritual association with? That will be something we each have decide for ourselves based on what religious views we chose to accept. Not that God will give any of us the answer to all of his plans, (or else we would know when the end would come and more) but for me there can only be one belief, even though many believe they have the right answer. Just last night I spoke to someone who told me I needed to pray harder for the faith I needed to believe that Jesus was God. (the trinity) Even while I tried to show her scriptures that clearly pointed away from that belief. Still, that is her choice and it is between her and Jehovah. I am only responsible for the effort of showing her what I know or believe as truth. That doesn’t mean any one of us can’t search here, (not actually meaning “search” here myself?) or study with the JW’s, or look to another faith. We all have the ability and right to choose and make a decision on who we believe has the right understanding of God’s plan for mankind. Not that individuals won’t do wrong, or make mistakes, but overall who is teaching the word of God. Who is following what Jesus taught us to do. Maggie, I know God wants to save all people who are earnestly seeking him and want to know how to live their lives according to his will. Take the things you learn from there, from here, from your own reading of the bible, and keep praying and praying and praying, for him to write it into your heart. And I am not trying to telling you not to go onto any other site or look into other religious views because I did that myself, but be careful. Satan also sees what we do and he doesn’t care how he takes us away from serving our creator, in the way our Father in heaven rightfully deserves to be worshipped, so long as he succeeds in some way in luring us away from our God, Jehovah.

Jacqueline, sorry I have not written you back from 1/17. I took a break from the site, (until today) and from some of my emailing. Thank you though for your words. I know you said it before on here, but for some reason that email helped me to view it differently. My path of understanding the scriptures is not over but my direction is clear. I hope that you understand. 🙂

Thank you to you and to Peter for allowing me to write on here.

QNA, so glad to hear you are okay. I am still sick and worse. I have a huge appt. with Dr tomorrow. You take care and remember Jehovah reads hearts and Jesus said we would be witnesses of him. Most religions believe in a God, so at least we recognize Jesus and that puts us on the right track and narrows it down a bit. I think he had the Bible written to keep us searching, so doctrine does not really throw me as all Christian Religions have some right and all have some wrong. I look at the conduct of its leaders and how they regard the flock. If they show love to one another and don’t take away my freedom to disagree. A lot of the rank and file just obey even if it means they have to shunn their parents or children, Not support them in grief, etc. They just obey.

Maggy A, I will pray for you to find peace in the call set before you. Moving is stressful all by itself. I am living in the home of my witness son, daughter in law and four grandson until May. We get along fine, they admit I now Make ,decisions based on what is right, from the heart. I told them I have freedom and liberty in Christ now. I make dinner is ready on their meeting night and I help them get children together. It works and my other nearly 150 witness relatives like what they see, witnesses and Bible Students movement living together in peace.Take care of yourself. In Christian love Jacqueline

        • QNA ...

          Jaqueline,
I’m very sorry to hear that you are still fighting with an illness, and getting worse. I truly hope that whatever is ailing you will be something the Dr. can help you with.

You are right, God reads hearts! I will not forget that or that we are witnesses of the things Jesus taught!
Prayer is a wonderful privilege. To think that the one thing our Heavenly Father never turned away from was wanting for each one of us to reach out to him in prayer! That despite the fact the we were sinners, and could not speak to him directly, he still wanted us to communicate with him!! He could have easily handed that over to someone else but he chose not to! Instead he chose to make a provision, (our only mediator in prayer) through his son Jesus, just to open up a way for those who earnestly seek him!! That’s Jehovah’s love in a big way!!! Isaiah 41:13 has a new meaning for me and I will continue to pray to never lose that trust and that faith!!
Jesus was the perfect example. He glorified his father in every way. Of course we must follow in his footsteps!! He is the truth and the light, and no one goes to the father except through him!! Humble and continuous prayers will open up the way to that light of truth for all those who allow it to reach their hearts.
I couldn’t help but read what you wrote to Maggie at the end. I’m glad that there seems to be mutual respect in your son’s household. Bible students and Witnesses living in peace…. wouldn’t that be nice worldwide if only we somehow would be united in our worship to God in every way, in the way he would approve. Maybe one day, if Jehovah allows it to happen.
I don’t know for sure when I’ll come back and communicate on your site, (or if I will) but please keep in contact and also let me know how you make out at the Dr’s via my email. If you want to of course. I know privacy is important and I’m not trying to be nosy but whatever happens, I do wish you well. Take care!

I live in Leeds, England. There are no BIble student meetings near me. I have been to one in Sheffield some time ago. I don’t see any reason to think Russel’s prophecies have any meaning for us today, though I don’t expect any church to be perfect. The jw’s are not God’s organization either, but they are a vibrant living ,growing church. Though you have to give up your mind to be in it, unless you can keep your mouth shut. I am looking for fellowship with Christians who don’t follow men, yet are sincere but not indistinguishable from a rock concert. Yours Barry Ward.

Barry – Perhaps you will be the first to take us up on our offer to advertise your telephone call in Bible Study, if you would like to set one up per the instructions at the bottom of the article. All you need is one other person to get started. It will grow from there. It is anonymous and therfore safe.

    • Daz

Hi Barry, I am from the UK too, maybe we can hook up sometime? I too do not follow men, I only the word of God Almighty & His Son Christ Jesus.
I am not sure how or if I am allowed to give you my email etc in a post, if not them maybe Peter or Jacqueline wouldn’t mind passing it on to you.

      Warm & loving regards,
      Daz

      • Jacqueline (Bible Student)

Daz I will send him your email if it is okay with him. We have his and we have yours so let him reply and we will connect you two. This might be an answer to prayers, my brothers.

      • Barry Ward

Hi Daz. Your message was in my junk mail for some reason, so just found it. Send me an email. You have read my message. I’m not impressed with churches, which is why they are mostly closing down, though I’m sure there are many good people go. I was member of Christian rambling club UK for many years. Unfortunately no one ever mentioned the Bible if they could help it. I have to repeat my friends inside JW’s were very interested in Bible discussion. I miss that. Barry Ward.

    • Wild Olive

I feel for you Barry, maybe have a crack at Islam lol
Down where I am in Australia it’s not so vibrant anymore, the only ones who seem enthusiastic are under 30 yr olds, most of them have good jobs in I T.
All the oldies are struggling with old age and problems with money because they made no plans for retirement,if it wasn’t for the aged pension I don’t know what would happen to them.
I thought that a unique opportunity exsists for you, since your going it solo you may be the recipient of the Holy Spirit in a miraculous way,I say this because I believe that gifts of the spirit have not finished yet, something I would not have said 5 yrs ago.

  • Jacqueline (Bible Student)

I can relate to this article. Jesus put a system in place when he returned to heaven, a safety net, the Church, the body of Christ.
John 13:34-35 He said we should “love one another” and all would know that we were his disciples.
On facebook there are a lot of little groups trying to sustain each other. In fact many are forming small Church groups to uplift and support each other in Christ.
When Paul was being marched as a prisoner to Rome, a group of believers from the capital city met him on the outskirts. When Paul saw them he was encouraged and thanked God. (Acts 28:14-15) A Christian without a network of friends is like a performer without a safety net. Acts 2:42 ENCOURAGES fellowship and prayer as well as Heb. 10:24-25 says to incite to fine works and encouraging one another. So we extend our hand in fellowship.
The invitation here to advertise some of the groups is something I think is needed.
I will post this invitation online to at least 20 groups.
I went to a site that was known to be atheist and I found they have many Bible Student sites as references. I was amazed. I hope this helps those that are picking up their lives after abuses or just wanting to think and discuss the bible among Christian not in a corporation.
