How Long Have You Been Waiting on Jehovah to Fix HIs Organization?

crying2Good it is that one should wait, even silently, for the salvation of Jehovah” (Lamentations 3:26; Titus 2:13)

Translation – “Wait on the JW Organization Leadership to make the necessary changes. Don’t initiate any improvements yourself or you may find yourself in trouble.”

Have you been waiting on Jehovah for years to fix His Organization?  How is that working for you?

Does “waiting on Jehovah” mean we live our lives in such a way that we help neither ourselves nor anyone else because we are waiting for God to correct problems. Does the Governing Body operates according to the principle–“Let’s just wait on Jehovah?” Of course not.  They take action according to their judgment.

When people say they are “waiting on Jehovah,” what is it exactly that they are waiting for? Are they waiting on the Governing Body, rather than waiting on Jehovah? This is understandable, since they have been taught that they are basically the same thing. Is it wise to wait for God to speak to the Governing Body? How is it that he will speak to them? The Governing Body admits no inspiration, so even they acknowledge that Jehovah will not give them a special revelation.  If new light makes old light error, has Jehovah lied to the Governing body in the past?  Of course not.

Have you been waiting on Jehovah …

* for the Elders to be more compassionate, understanding and supportive?

*  to finally understand a teaching that doesn’t make any sense to you?

* for all the brothers in the congregation to compete in fulfilling Romans 12:10 (NWT) “In brotherly love have tender affection for one another.  In showing honor to one another take the lead?”

* to correct an injustice you, just an ordinary publisher, have suffered in the congregation?

* for the leaders to be less concerned about maintaining and exercising control and more concerned about your spiritual and emotional well being?

* to hear Jesus name mentioned more often than the Governing Body?

* over your concern that some child might be harmed by a child molesters in the hall?

*  for good brothers and sisters with great ideas to be told YES, rather than being put in their place?

Do your leaders heed Jesus’ warnings?

Matthew 23:1-12 (NCV) “Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his followers, 2 “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees have the authority to tell you what the law of Moses says. 3 … but their lives are not good examples for you to follow. They tell you to do things, but they themselves don’t do them. 4 They make strict rules and try to force people to obey them, but they are unwilling to help those who struggle under the weight of their rules.

5 “They do good things so that other people will see them.  7 They love people to greet them with respect in the marketplaces [Kingdom Hall and Conventions], and they love to have people call them ‘Teacher.’ [Elder or Overseer]

10 And you should not be called ‘Master,’ [Governing Body] because you have only one Master, the Christ. 11 Whoever is your servant is the greatest among you. 12 Whoever makes himself great will be made humble. Whoever makes himself humble will be made great.”

Do you see love in your Kingdom Hall?

1 Corinthian 13:4-8 (Amplified) “4 ¶ Love endures long {and } is patient and kind; love never is envious {nor } boils over with jealousy, is not boastful {or } vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.  5 It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) {and } does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights {or } its own way, {for } it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy {or } fretful {or } resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it it pays no attention to a suffered wrong.  6 It does not rejoice at injustice {and } unrighteousness, but rejoices when right {and } truth prevail.  7 Love bears up under anything {and } everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything without weakening.
8 ¶ Love never fails never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end…”

Do the Brothers and Sisters avoid slander and evil speaking?

Ephesians 4:31 (NKJV) “ Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.”

James 4:11-12 – Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. … who are you to judge your neighbor? NIV

Ps 15:1-3 – LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary?  Who may live on your holy hill?  …  He whose …has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman, – NIV

Prov 17:9 – He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates friends. – NKJV

1 Cor 13:4-7 – “Love … keeps no record of wrongs. It always protects, always trusts, …“  NIV

Prov 6:16-19 – These six things the LORD hates…one who sows discord among brethren. – NKJV

Prov 17:9  He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates friends. NKJV

Prov 16:28  A perverse man stirs up dissension, and a gossip separates close friends.  NIV

Eph 4:30-32 – Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.  NKJV

Rom 15:1- We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. NIV

Gal 6:1 – Even if any one should be overtaken in a fault, brothers, you that are spiritual ought, in a gentle spirit, to restore such a one, each one of you looking to himself, lest you too be tempted. – Montgomery’s New Testament

Matt 18:15-17 (NKJV)  “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone.  If he hears you, you have gained your brother.  16 But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’   17 And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.”

IS THERE AN ALTERNATIVE?

Are you discouraged and frustrated that you are not able to worship Jehvovah in joy, peace and Christian liberty.  What can you do?  You don’t want to go back to the denominatoinal Churches and embrase Hell, Trinity and Immortality of the Soul do you?  Is there an alternative?

My name is Ari Matthew Davies. I was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses back in 1975 I was not disfellowshipped by them I simply stopped going and in short I will tell you why besides many things which I did not like that I was seeing besides abusiveness to children I noticed that Jehovah’s Witnesses frequently said that things were going to happen at certain times and in certain ways and they never did and I waited and I waited and I waited for Jehovah and the Kingdom Hall to correct the problems that never happened the day came that I had to make a choice the Bible clearly says if somebody should speak something in the name of Jehovah and it does not come to be you must not fear this person or listen to him further that’s when I told them quite politely you taught me the Bible you taught me to respect Jehovah God this is what the Bible says have a nice day good-bye that was it.
Since then I go about upon the internet and in the prison and minister to those that are deep behind the wall dragged down by this world! These are people that feels God has let them down they are the toughest people in the world to bring hope to how much hope can you bring to somebody that’s locked in a steel and cement cage but I found out that you’re just a few dollars I can give them a little treat of food or a pair of sneakers or buy them a little something and that shows to them more about Jesus then sitting there and studying the Bible with them 4 hours and hours. As for Jehovah’s Witnesses they have their niche in God’s plan the same niche that elementary school Junior High School in high school plays in a person’s life I believe it’s designed to get you to the point will you have a foundation in God’s word and you know the name of Jehovah and you know how to call upon Jehovah in the name of Jesus Christ.
I will never forget what a lady who was one of the anointed within Jehovah’s Witnesses told me she told me. A straightforward truth what makes you one of Jehovah’s Witnesses is being a witness for Jehovah! Friends how simple is this?
You don’t have to belong to a Kingdom Hall or any other religion especially the ones that say we’re the only true religion which by the way is totally unscriptural the Bible says there must be no division in the body. But back to my point any person can gain the knowledge of how to obey God’s word put it into practice in your daily life and then go tell people that are in the same shape that you used to be hey friend I followed this advice and it saved me from all kinds of trouble and men and women of God nobody knows trouble better than I do trouble for me began when I was Age 4 with all kinds of child abuse and violence by people that were supposed to be baptized Jehovah’s Witnesses and then in my 20s in Rebellion I turned away from that quite understandable! And joined up with Satan’s world felon with drug abuse fast cars and immorality ended up in a jail cell and in that jail cell I called out to Jehovah and Christian people that I had never met came and rescued me a kind judge gave me a Christian regeneration program in a place called dunklin in Okeechobee Florida instead of 15 years in prison that I could have gotten all my charges were dropped and for the first time I saw for myself just how real Jesus Christ is it wasn’t books it wasn’t tracks it wasn’t talks it wasn’t knocking on doors it was a real living God that cared enough about me to personally intervene in my life!
It was after 8 years of recovery that I said my goodbyes to the Kingdom Hall and I wish them well! But I won’t let my past be my future Jehovah has much better for me in store and for those of you that have just left the Kingdom Hall and feel that you’re in sin and guilt because you’re not in what you were taught was God’s only true religion Don’t Buy into that! Jesus came to set us free and I do mean free any person any place at any time can pick up God’s word start to obey it start to call Upon Jesus Christ and the name of Jehovah and find other people to hang out with that does the same thing and you’re just as acceptable to Jesus Christ in that condition as you are if you’re the Kingpin of the governing body of Jehovah’s Witnesses there can be no division in the body the members must have the same care for one another if 1 is hurting everybody is hurting but if one member is rejoicing everybody can Rejoice with that one for we are now individual members of Christ’s body each chosen to do the proper work that is best for our circumstance.
Men and ladies of God rejoice that you have found strength and Hope in Jesus Christ and in the name of Jehovah and never think of yourself as any less then Children of the most high God approved Children of the most high God. Pass the word friends! This is your brother in Christ arimatthewdavies hope to see you more may Jehovah bless you

      Hello,
Thanks for sharing some of your story. Very encouraging to hear. I too found myself incarcerated and found hope and comfort in Jesus through Jehovahs word the bible. The Lord certainly intervened in my life when my life was close to being cut short.

      air m Davies,

I LOVE your comment! It really sings to me. I hear in your words more than just history and expressions, but also passions, compassion, caring, hope, joy, gratitude, and excitement. I can hear a genuine, heartfelt appeal to other hurting ones from someone who truly knows pain and hurt, and who has learned how important is to try always to act out of loving kindness and caring. Thank you for sharing this!

      Sincerely and appreciatively,
      -greg
