HOW TO CALL FOR FREE OVER THE INTERNET
There is actually a way to make free phone calls through your computer. I have been doing this for the past month and it is easy to set up in just a few minutes. By the way, the benefit of the head set with mic, instead of a microphone with speakers, is that with the headset, you will not create feedback problems in your phone call. With speakers however, you may often encounter a problem with feedback, especially on a conference call. If you are interested, here are some simple instructions.
1) It would be good to have a quality head set with a microphone that you can plug into your computer. Test out the audio by playing audio on your computer. For example, after you plug your headset into the computer, go to You-Tube and play anything. If you can hear the sound, that’s great. You can now go onto step #2.
2) Next, click on this link to go to Google Mail Select “Create an Account.” (You need to first create a GMail account before you can set up your free phone service – Google Voice.)
Complete the information and make note of it somewhere so that you don’t forget your Google Mail email address and password. This is called a GMail account. You will never be able to get into your GMail account unless you can type in your GMail address and password. You can get into your GMail any time by using this same link above that I just provided to you. Once you are in your GMail account, it will look like similiar to your present email account in some ways. Perhaps your email address might be something like JaneDoe@Gmail.com.
3) Once you are in your GMail account you should receive an offer to set up Google Voice. Do so. Set up Google Voice. If you do not get an offer to set up Google Voice, then click on this link to set up Google Voice. Sign in with your GMail Account and Password. Follow the instructions to install Google Voice. It is quick and simple.
4) Anytime in the future that you want to get into your GMail account to make a phone call, click here: https://mail.google.com/mail/?shva=1#inbox
At this point, in the lower left hand corner of your screen, you should see an option called, “call phone.” Click on “call phone.” In the lower right hand corner of your screen a number pad will appear. If on the dial pad you see an option to “download the voice plugin,” you may need to do this. With your mouse, click on the appropriate numbers to make a phone call. Make sure you have your headset with mic over your ears. Call me a friend. If he/she can hear you and you can hear him/her, it worked? Congratulations, you should be able to make clear phone calls on the Six Screens conference call in the future.
Hi, “John.” You are clearly trying to cause trouble attacking both Bible Students and the number #1 person exposing Watchtower, Rick Fearon, using lies to do both. Shame on you.
One of the wonderful things I have learned as a Bible Student (and I just started calling myself that after a year of association) is the art of being non-judgmental. I have come to know the “the Liberty of Christ.” It’s allowing others to have their own thoughts. If I don’t approve or they don’t want to have an open discussion with the possibility of learning a different view, I just don’t associate with them. I’m not very fond of Six Screens either and just don’t go there. I’m just grateful to know and feel comfortable learning the truths GOD has for us to know and understand at this time.
Gal 5:1 – Stand fast therefore in the liberty
by which Christ has made us free,…
One wonders why you (Bible Students) woould associate yourselves with the owners of “Six Screens” when irt is obvious from their own site that they believe “Charles Taze Russell was a bona fide false prophet, a womanizer and an occult practicer.”
It seems like you are sleeping with the enemy
John – We had a Bible Students Telephone Conference Call program with Six Screens for less than six months. We hoped that their website would back off of the false slander against brother Russell once we layed out the truth and were prepared to answer questions. I personally interviewed Eric Patterson, the creator of “PastorRussell.com.” We discussed criticisms and attacks against Charles Russell. We were prepared to answer any and all questions and we still are. We entertained questions and comments on that program and others. Sadly these are all false accusatins with not substance. We withdrew when the slander against Russell was not removed from their website. However, we need to thank them for giving the opportunity to present our point of view on their program. I beleive Rick Fearon to be sincere. I beleive that if you were to ask Richard Rawe, that he would tell you that he does not swallow all these mischaracterizations of Russell. Any time anyone wants our opinion, Bible Students are generally glad to have the opportunity to share what we beleive is the Truth from the scriptures and to entertain discussion from any who would disagree. By having open discussions, the truth comes out for those honestly seeking it.
John, every person have the right to this thoughts and opinions even as you do. No one knows the experiences of another and should not judge. Rick has a mission. He is a shock jock so to speak. He is bringing attention to what he considers a cause. He does have a place regardless of what his beliefs are. Many get to shout and tell their story and get it off their chest so to speak. Many have moved on afterwards. Also some got to know of the BS by seeing the interviews on his site. If he offends you, you have freedom and liberty now. Don’t go there. We here at this site and other BS sites offer you spiritual food to accept or not or just read. I should have been ashamed to have sat beside pedophiles and others for 60 yrs. Also to have associated and obeyed child murderers (blood doctrine). But I view it as an experience that as an adult I have benefited. Each ones has been hurt in different ways. Sticks and stones may break my bones but talk don’t bother me. So that is how I personnally view it. Have you ever met or talked to Rick on a personal basis? Call or write him and express your opinion, he might like to hear what you think. Sincerely, Jacqueline
BTW, Br Russell is deceased and as with all Saints his record has gone on with him. I defend only the living for they can answer back in rebuttal.
