Has the Heavenly Call Ended? Or is it Still Wide Open? Jan 14 WEBCAST

Does the Bible teach that you should be pursuing a earthly hope today, to be a part of the Great Crowd on earth?  Or does it teach that the Christian should be pursuing a heavenly hope, to be a part of the bride of Christ?   On January 14, we recorded our webcast.  Former JW and Bible Student elder David Stein interviewed a panel of Bible students (some Ex-JWs) to investigate and discuss this topic.  They answered the questions– What does the Bible teach about the Little Flock, the Great Crowd, the Other Sheep and the Heavenly Call?  The Webcast was on January 14, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. CST.

I don’t know if you post here anymore, Magdalena, but I feel the same way as you. I’m so thrilled you brought out those scriptures. I don’t feel as though I’m of the heavenly class, but earthly class. However, I do think that Jesus and the Holy Spirit of Jehovah is working in my life. The changes that have happened to my character are nearly miraculous. I’m 67 and nothing has helped me to have this Christian character as the Holy Spirit has. I didn’t know the Truth as a JW. I do now and I’ve truly been set free.

All i know is that Christ is healing me,and his holy spirit is my help .
John14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things.

John16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.

    (compare 1John2:26-29).
