The picture is clear. The historical data reveals beyond a doubt that the Bible Students founded by Pastor Russell and Jehovah’s Witnesses founded by Judge Rutherford are two separate movements.
Pastor Russell founded the Bible Students. The movement had its beginning in 1872 at Allegheny, Pennsylvania, where a newly formed Bible Class selected Charles Taze Russell as its Pastor. At that time other earnest Christians were forming independent Bible classes for in-depth Bible study to meet the then rising wave of infidelity. While many clung blindly to the creeds that originated in the “Dark Ages,” the Bible Students emerged to challenge intelligent unbelief and unintelligent belief.
Pastor Russell became a leader of thought and activity among these congregations. In 1879 Zion’s Watch Tower was formed, later known as the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society (not to be mistaken with Jehovah’s Witnesses). This society did not become the central authority of the Bible Student movement. It could not because all cooperating congregations of Bible Students held strictly to congregational self-government. The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society was basically a publishing house and lecture bureau that constantly employed Bible lecturers who traveled throughout the Western Hemisphere—some to the far reaches of the world.

This article “Protocols of the elders of Zion” in wikipedia says Henry Ford published it in the USA. So many of the people who came to the USA right after the first WW1 were from Eastern Europe and only forty years out of serfdom which had kept them from any opportunities to better themselves. The rich did have the power in those countries, no doubt about that. These people really lapped up the message of a New World that was being preached to them, and had come out of Catholic systems which were anti semetic in those days. I find these attitudes no different than the ant illuminate ideas of today and the “them and us” mentality that feeds into personal paranoia, and to be just playing into the hands of the opposer. Watchtower’s continued legacy of Hypocrisy is scary. In doing a little investigation of my own, I came across the May 8th, 1981 Awake and its section, “Watching the World”. One might get the sense that it’s almost as if Watchtower was trying to obfuscate their prior blunders, however, I fear the real truth is even more frightening than that. I mean, to be clear, remember that the below quote is actually a quote of a quote (the original comment having been made in The Wall Street Journal). Anyway, on page 30 of that Awake it reads:

In its review of The Terrible Secret, a book based on newly available documents about Hitler’s slaughter of the Jews, The Wall Street Journal observed: ‘The Vatican, better informed than anyone else by its priests and its faithful throughout Central and Eastern Europe, knew [about the holocaust] beyond a shadow of doubt in the summer, even in the spring, of 1942. Where was the fiery papal encyclical that might have created a crisis of conscience among the Catholics in the German nation and the German army? Pius XII maintained a deafening diplomatic silence while the furnaces continued to work full blast.”

Ever since Rutherford, Watchtower has always loved pointing fingers. Yeah, OK, sure, it’s fun to point fingers… until someone loses an eye. Where are all the eyes now?
As I got to bottom of the hitler-nazi page you linked to, I couldn’t help but wonder if Watchtower would soon make it’s own application for “Sexual Abuse Victim’s Compensations” under the premise that they’d make sure the funds went to all the “appropriate places” just like they did with the “Holocaust Victim Assets Litigation Fund.” Wouldn’t surprise me in the least.
