The Seven Churches of Revelation

Pastor Russell speaks on the 7 churches of Revelation in Watchtower Reprint 5992

Read the Seven Churches of Revelation and learn their placement in time.

Read an article is taken from a May 1991 article from the publication, “Beauties of the Truth.”

The seven churches of Revelation, as described in chapters two and three of that Book, have
intrigued Bible expositors down through the age. Were the messages to these churches intended
mainly for the congregations to which they were sent during the apostolic period? Were they
intended to be instructive in a general way to the church worldwide in every period of its
development? Or were they actually prophetic of Seven Historical Ages of the church, with each
successive stage reflecting the conditions and characteristics ascribed to the original churches?

Magdalena – We welcome your participation on our website, but we have a policy of not allowing any one person to make several posts all at once. We suggest you you make two or three at a time and wait a couple of days before posting additional information. The posts are hoped to be interactive as well. So the idea is that a conversation will begin and you can dialog back and forth with others on a particular topic. So look for responses and you can respond to those right away, if you want. I may comment myself if I find the time. I agree that the Islamic impact on the world is significant. I suggest reviewing the last two radio program recordings on Christian Questions on Islam-Christianity, what’s the difference?
