Have People Received Final Judgment for the Past 6,000 years or will they have an Opportunity for Judgment and Restitution on Paradise Earth?

Although many Christians believe that people will be judged based on whether they accepted Christ before they died, the Bible actually teaches that people will be judged based on their behavior, progress and decisions during the Millennium.

Rev 20:12  And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.   NKJV

Compare

Matt 8:21-22 – Then another of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.“  But Jesus said to him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”  NKJV

Those awakened from the dead in the kingdom are still dead in the same sense as Lazarus who was awakened by Jesus.  They will not be fully alive, fully resurrected, until they progress to both moral and physical perfection and are judged as loyal and obedient to the LORD.

John 12:  47  And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.   48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him — the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.  NKJV

This is basically saying the same thing as Rev. 20:12, “the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.” The “books” are the books of the Bible and in the kingdom, mankind will be judged from the standards written in the Bible and spoken by Jesus.

Matt 12:32   Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.  NKJV

Personal judgment is in two ages & two classes, first on those who have the Holy Spirit during the Gospel Age, then later on Paradise Earth when Jehovah pours his spirit on ALL flesh.

Some would speak against the holy spirit in the next age.  Who are these?  Not the Church in heaven.

Rev 22:14  Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.   NKJV

This is not talking about those who did His commandments before the judgment time, but during the judgment time.  Notice that at the very same time there are those outside the city are sinners (those not cooperating with and entering into God’s kingdom).  Certainly no one is eating of the Tree of Life today.  This opportunity is for mankind in the kingdom.

Isa 26:9  For when Your judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.   NKJV

Ps 96:10-13    10 Say among the nations,”The LORD reigns;  The world also is firmly established, It shall not be moved; He shall judge the peoples righteously.”   11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad;  Let the sea roar, and all its fullness;  12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it.  Then all the trees of the woods will rejoice before the LORD.  13 For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth.  He shall judge the world with righteousness,  And the peoples with His truth.   NKJV

Ps 67  God be merciful to us and bless us, And cause His face to shine upon us, Selah  2 That Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations.   3 Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You.  4 Oh, let the nations be glad and sing for joy!  For You shall judge the people righteously,  And govern the nations on  earth.

The time of Jehovah’s judgments are not a time of fear and dread, but a time of praise and gladness.

Ps 9:8  He shall judge the world in righteousness,  And He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness.   NKJV

  • Dieter.G,

I am a very simple person, with a very simple brain. I read your post. YHWH is a very compassionate God. He understands there are people like me who can not understand very complex Godly wording. If his word was complex, he knows many of us would not understand what he was saying?
As to being judged, I read that at the end of the 7,000th year, when the earth is perfect, and the human family is perfect, Satan will be let lose, and the human family will be tested by Satan, in that condition, and time. Forgive me for having a hard time understanding what you wrote. Can you put what you were saying into simple wording for me?
    Thank you.

  • Actually an easy subject if it had not been subjected to a profound identity crisis mix up of the first order.
The word of God -the printed version and not the person of the Christ, as alleged, because he DOES NOT wear that name, but is the actualization of Jehovah’s word, as beautifully expressed by Paul in 2 Corinthians 1:20: ‘For no matter how many the promises of God are, they have become Yes by means of him.. . .’- was exclusively about God’s promise for Israel to become a Kingdom of Priests and a holy nation (Ex 19:3-8)in keeping with His promise to Abraham to have all mankind ultimately blessed by that seed of Abraham Israel.
The words in Isaiah and Psalms above were exclusively for and about Israel. The psalms were sung by, to and for them. Isaiah Chapter 1 identifies the target audience for the book.
The religious blames-hifters who seem to love feeling guilty and waiting for God to fix things for them, see themselves as the principal subjects of Bible prophecy and so write themselves into a salvation not theirs.
They therefore ignore and/or misapply plural personal pronouns used by the OT prophets and NT epistleliers. A little statistical example here: ‘us’ is used in Psalms 138, Isaiah 76 and Jeremiah 76 times; ‘we’ 90, 69, 77 and ‘our’ 139, 63, 76 times respectively.
These books need to be read and the meaning of original languages better translated and in keeping with God’s purpose.
People may have sinned over the past 6000 years, but IT IS NOT COUNTED as such because humanity had NO LAW to identify sin Romans 4:15; 5:13.
Humans will NEVER be written into a book of life, because if they don’t eat, they will die anyway. All the ETERNAL LIFE and IMMORTALITY promises exclusively relate to the small flock of the tribe of Jacob, the bride of Christ who WILL become immortal sons of God at their resurrection even as did their Christ, King and Master -not Jesus, because he remains as dead as all the sacrifices gone before.
People need not worry at all. No one has gone into the second death except perhaps a few of the chosen out of 1st and 2nd edition Israel who have become antichrists by trampling on the redemptive sacrifice of the son of God who had died for them.
All of the billions of humanity past, present and future will get their opportunity as soon as the little flock of saints (separated ones) completed washing their robes in the blood of the lamb and are seated on their thrones in Heavenly Jerusalem.
To that end I need to counter the nonsense in this verse from the NKJV used above -Rev 22:14: ‘Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.’ with an extract from one of the pages of my website:
Revelation 22:14 is where those privileged to become part of the heavenly Kingdom Admin needing to wash their robes as a prerequisite to entering the heavenly city of Jerusalem to become the kingdom of the thousand years, whereas the King James and quite a few other translations read ‘do his commandments’ rather than wash their robes. This plays a significant role in the identification, origin, role and destiny of the Great Crowd (NWT) or multitude (KJV) or company (Russell).
Here from the New International Version and the Catholic Douay Rheims Versions: ‘”Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. NIV – ‘”Blessed are they that wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb: that they may have a right to the tree of life and may enter in by the gates into the city. Douay Rheims
The following 20 translations feature wash their robes in that verse: ASV 1901, BBE, DARBY 1888, DOUAY RHEIMS 1899, ERV 1852, ESV, GWV, HSCB, MESSAGE, NAS, NIV, NLT, NOYES 1869, NRSV, NWT, PHILIPS, ROTHERHAM 1902, RVSV, WEYMOUTH 1912, WILLIAMS 1936
s noted above, The NKJV reads ‘do His commandments’.
Finally here from a 4th-5th Century treatment of Revelation in Jerome’s time, on which the Douay is based I believe, via the current version of the Vulgate:
14 beati qui lavant stolas suas ut sit potestas eorum in ligno vitae et portis intrent in civitatem
Blessed are they that wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb: that they may have a right to the tree of life and may enter in by the gates into the city.

One needs to understand that God appointed the Law, associated commandments and regulations as a tutor to temporarily guide Israel through childhood to their Christ –Galatians 3:24-25.
Because Jehovah had sold them into the slavery of the Law, they needed to be repurchased through Christ Jesus, who had come to free them. Their impudent disobedience and transgressions compounded matters so that their continuing position in Jehovah’s purpose had become untenable and their execution inevitable.
In view of this, the phrase do his commandments in Revelation 22:14 of the KJV and other translations is entirely unscriptural. The penal system of the Law having served its purpose was permanently terminated by God never to be re-imposed upon any people.
This finally brings me to the subject ‘The Curse’ to which Pastor Russell had devoted the whole of Study 14 of Volume V of Studies in the Scriptures, where he misinterpreted that to be the default death inherited from Adam in the manner all living things on earth had inherited theirs from their original 1st editions bequeathed to all by the greatest recycler of them all: Jehovah, with humans never an exception other than a cooperation-dependent opportunity to lengthen their lifespan indefinitely.
Careful Reading of Leviticus 26, Deuteronomy 27:1-29:1 places the curse rightly into Israel’s backyard. That was lifted by the one who had become a curse in their stead: Ga 3:13 ‘Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree’, where the ‘us’ in this verse represents those who came out of redeemed Israel making up the little flock of kings ruling in the Kingdom of the heavens.
Mankind never had that or any curse needing to be lifted.
Rejoice all you lovers of God, because you are under no curse and neither need you fear the second death for past errors or sins. The dead have a clean slate: ‘7 For he who has died has been acquitted from [] sin.’ (Romans 6:7) NWT. ([His] in the NWT is a doctrinal implant to limit such acquittal)
Those alive at the Government change over to the Global Kingdom of God will get the same opportunity Adam had for an indefinitely lasting life in the flesh on earth, and wherever else humans will ever be assigned to, but all subject to eating food and cooperating with Jehovah.
That’s all folks. And thanks be to those actually reading and trying to understand this.
    Dieter

Dieter, you mentioned you have a website, maybe you can just post that site’s link. Your comments are welcomed but most are as long as an article and not well suited for the back and forth motion of the site. We will collapse your comments that are very long and perhaps you can shorten your answer and put your link. Thanks and peace. Jacqueline
